How do I pay my rent?
Rent is payable in accordance with the tenancy agreement and must be paid in advance. Payment methods are as follows: Bank transfer to UniLodge bank account. Direct deposit to nominated UniLodge bank account. Credit card at the front desk during business hours (subject to 3% surcharge).
What is included in my rent?
Rent includes electricity, gas, water, unlimited Wi-Fi and access to our community spirit program.
What if I want to cancel the lease?
When considering early termination of your residential tenancy agreement, it is your responsibility to: Continue to pay all rent until a new occupant moves in or the residential tenancy agreement is terminated, whichever comes first. Pay all associated costs, including advertising costs and rental break fees as stated in the property rental agreement. In all cases, an exit cleaning fee will be charged.

Can I cancel a confirmed reservation before arrival?
The first month's rent and other upfront fees need to be paid prior to your arrival to secure a reservation. This is non-refundable. Under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997, refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances (with appropriate supporting documentation). In such cases, a cancellation/administration fee equivalent to one week's rent plus GST will be charged.

What is Bond?
Bonds are sent to the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA) - a government organisation. Bond cannot be used as a rental at any time. The cost of any repairs or excessive cleaning can be deducted from the Bond upon exit.
What do I need when I check in for the first time?

Can I bring some more furniture?
No other furniture will be permitted in a resident's room unless a written application has been submitted to and approved by UniLodge Management. Every request will be considered individually according to the size of the room and furniture.
What other services or items are provided at the front desk?
right. To ensure your safety and the safety of other residents, you must cook responsibly and use an arcade exhaust fan at all times. The hood sits over your cooktop, make sure it's always on (you'll be able to hear the muffled sound), even if you don't want to smoke (like cooking sausage, chicken, or even toast!). There is a stove hob and range hood switch that lets you turn it on and off.

Do I need to clean the room?
right. Tenants are responsible for the daily cleaning of the room. In addition to this, UniLodge rooms will be inspected for cleanliness and damage in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act upon due notice.
Can I store my bike?
Bike racks are located in the secure bike storage room. We encourage you to use this secure bike storage and not to leave your bike outside. It is not allowed to keep bicycles in the room as it will damage the walls of your room. All bicycles must be registered at the front desk with a bicycle identification number.
Can I have pets?
This building does not allow pets. Under no circumstances are you allowed to bring any pets or animals into the building, including fish.
How will I receive my mail and packages?
All mail and packages are received by reception and are available for collection during office hours (UniLodge does not accept groceries, meals or perishable items). The dimensions of the package must not exceed 430 x 315 x 317 mm.
