FAQ

Look for properties that are close to the university and have easy access to public transportation. Consider the cost, size, and condition of the property. Also, check out the facilities, safety measures, and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Start your search early and compare different options. Consider sharing an apartment with other students to split the cost. Some websites and agencies specialize in student housing, which can be a good starting point.

Besides the monthly rent, you might need to pay for utilities, internet, and possibly a security deposit. Some landlords might also charge an application or administrative fee. Always ask for a detailed breakdown of costs.

While not always mandatory, renters insurance is highly recommended. It covers your belongings in case of damage or theft, and it can also provide liability coverage.

If you encounter any problems, inform your landlord or rental agency immediately. They are responsible for most repairs and maintenance.
