Urbanest City is a cosy student accommodation in London with many rooms. The communal areas of the flats have study rooms, lounges, bike storage and a laundry room for your convenience. Located in the heart of historic central London, the apartments are just a 4-minute walk from Tower Hill tube station and minutes away from many of London's leading universities. It is worth mentioning that Urbanest City is one of the official KCL student flats. Conveniently located within walking distance of the King's College London Strand Campus, Urbanest City is a great choice of accommodation for students as it is a 20-minute direct tube journey to the campus.

 

Features

Urbanest City has both En-suite (en-suite bathroom, shared kitchen) and Studio (en-suite bathroom, separate kitchen) rooms to cater to the needs of different students. All rooms are designed with students in mind, with large comfortable beds, ample wardrobe space and private study areas. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher.

Location and What's Hot?

Urbanest City student flats are located in the heart of Central London, close to Brick Lane and East London's Shoreditch, and within easy reach of two of the city's most famous restaurants, Flock and Mayfair Chippy. The award-winning Flock and Mayfair Chippy are just a short walk away. Tower Bridge, one of London's most famous landmarks, is very close by and can be seen directly from the flat's communal space! Urbanest City is just a short walk from London Liverpool Street station and 8 minutes to the London Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford, London's major shopping centre, where everyday life is plentiful.

 

Transport

From Urbanest City, you can travel to King's College London in 17 minutes by tube, Queen Mary, University of London in 14 minutes by tube and University College London in 17 minutes by tube. Fenchurch Street, Tower Hill and Aldgate stations are all within a short walk of the flats, as well as Tower Millennium Pier, which is about an 8-minute walk away, allowing you to experience London's fast-growing water taxi service.

Cancellation Policy

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

Before 1-week upfront rent payment is made: Customer can cancel with no liability.
After paying the 1-week upfront rent payment:
Within 14 days of payment and acceptance of T&Cs: Customer can cancel with refund of 1-week upfront rent payment if a cancellation request has been submitted on our cancellation form (available on the Customer’s urbanest portal) within 14-days of their original booking for the 2023-24 academic year being confirmed.

No Visa No Pay

After 14 days of payment and acceptance of T&Cs, if you fail to obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom, then, provided we receive notice from you by 31 July 2023 (with accompanying proof of refusal), we will accept the amount of the 1-week upfront rent payment as an agreed sum to compensate us for the loss of income which we will suffer, and you will be released from the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.

Applicable to bookings with a Tenancy Start Date on or after 01 September 2023.

1. Before 1-week upfront rent payment is made: Customer can cancel with no liability.

2. After paying the 1-week upfront rent payment:
(1) Within 14 days of payment and acceptance of T&Cs: Customer can cancel with refund of 1-week upfront rent payment if a cancellation request has been submitted on our cancellation form (available on the Customer’s urbanest portal) within 14-days of their original booking for the 2023-24 academic year being confirmed.

(2) After 14 days of payment and acceptance of T&Cs: Customer will be liable for the payment of rent and the other obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions of Tenancy (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) The only exception will be if you fail to obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom. If that should happen, then, provided we receive notice from you by 31 July 2023 (with accompanying proof of refusal), we will accept the amount of the 1-week upfront rent payment as an agreed sum to compensate us for the loss of income which we will suffer, and you will be released from the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.

3. After moving in: After the customer collects his/her keys, the customer will be liable for the payment of rent and the other obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions of Tenancy (Assured Shorthold Tenancy). In the event the customer wishes to move out, he/she should contact the team who will be able to assist, but the customer must find a replacement tenant to take over the Tenancy and pay any associated administrative and clerical fees to carry out the transfer.

4. How to request a cancellation: A cancellation request must be submitted via the customer’s urbanest portal in order to be reviewed. We do not accept cancellation requests by telephone, in-person, or via e-mail; the request must be made via a form submission available to the Customer on their portal.
