I had a great stay in unloaded Melbourne city, with amenities such as a gym, study room, communal kitchen, music room, and movie room readily available. The maintenance response was very prompt, and the elevator was reliable. I stayed in a four-person room with a private bathroom, which was spacious enough. My roommates were very nice, and I made some great friends in the apartment. Most importantly, it was very close to the tram station and the school. Overall, I was very satisfied!
Suitable for short-term transitions, with weekly free pizza and milk tea movie nights, and regular short trips organized, allowing socially anxious individuals to meet Chinese international students; the front desk can receive packages, so no need to wait for the courier; maintenance can be submitted with one click on the online portal, and there is a dedicated person to handle it on-site.
The front desk staff are very friendly and will patiently respond if you have any questions. After reporting a problem with the room facilities, the repair technician came the next day to resolve it, which was very efficient. I love the lighting in my room, with a window that gets sunlight both in the morning and afternoon, making it particularly comfortable to stay here.
The apartment is very nice, and the view from the high floor is great.
Advantages: Convenient location, plenty of food options nearby, large bed, and many cabinets. Disadvantages: The space between the toilet and sink in the bathroom is unreasonable; using the toilet means squeezing next to the sink; the ceiling is unpainted, which looks a bit shabby; the air conditioning can be quite loud; the apartment management's email responses are slow or sometimes nonexistent.
Finally, in this city, I have a little nest that completely belongs to me. Although it is a rented place, once I close the door, it's my whole world—no more needing to deal with the landlord's face, I can arrange it however I want; my commute has shrunk from an hour to ten minutes, allowing me to sleep a little longer every day; downstairs is a vegetable market and a subway station, getting both the hustle and bustle and convenience. Most importantly, I no longer have to share a flat, I have an independent bathroom and kitchen, and on weekends, I can slowly explore gourmet food. The landlord is very nice, saying he won't raise the rent for three years, and will come to fix any broken appliances right away. There is a tree outside the window, changing its scenery with the seasons, and sunlight can come in every day. All of this makes me feel that renting is no longer...
In the Melbourne CBD, transportation is convenient, there is a free tram zone, and there are plenty of Chinese restaurants. Shopping is also convenient with Coles and Kmart nearby, and there are many Asian supermarkets. The apartment environment is quite clean, but the gym equipment is somewhat limited.
