Newly refurbished for 2024/2025, The P&V is set in Dublin' s buzzing centre, so it' s no wonder it' s a popular choice of private halls amongst students all across the city. Your room, study area, lounge, Wi-Fi and utilities are all included in your bill, and students love making the most of our free cycle store. Everything you need outside of your room – amazing restaurants, shops, and bars – is right on your doorstep, and there' s great links and access to all colleges, universities and the city. Trinity College, Dublin Business School, NCAD, TU Dublin and Royal College of Surgeons are all walkable in less than 30 minutes. And you can get a bus direct to University College Dublin and Dublin City University.
Of course. For locations with cluster apartments, it's easy to arrange bookings with friends. You just need to let us know who you want to stay with, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that this depends on room availability, and booking in advance will make it easier to secure your preferred arrangements.
How can I know who I will be living with?
For privacy reasons, we won't disclose names, but you can find out who you'll be living with, such as their gender, grade, and school, by checking the resident group shared before your move-in or by asking your apartment team.
When can I move in?
About two months before your move-in date, you will be invited to schedule a move-in time. You can choose the time that works best for you. If you have any special requirements regarding accessibility or transportation arrangements, please let us know at this time.
Can we make a reservation as a group?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Unlike other providers, we do not require a deposit to secure your booking. However, we do need an advance rent payment, which will be deducted from your first month’s rent (you can think of it as a gift to yourself when you arrive in September!).
What is the cancellation policy?
We have a 5-day "cooling-off period." This means that if you need to cancel your booking, you can do so within 5 days of signing the lease, as long as you haven't moved in yet. If you need to cancel after the cooling-off period, we will allow cancellations in certain cases, such as if your UK visa is denied or if you do not meet the entry requirements for your chosen university. Please make sure to provide the UCAS notification or visa denial documents within 72 hours of receiving the notice. You can also transfer your lease to another suitable tenant. If a suitable replacement is found, we will conduct a qualification review, and once approved, they will take over the lease.

What items are prohibited from being brought into the venue?
For health and safety reasons, we do not allow the following items: candles, oil burners, deep fryers, and any electrical equipment that does not comply with UK standards and legal regulations. We also cannot accommodate electric scooters or similar items. Please do not bring these items, as you will be asked to remove them.
Will anyone come into my room?
We conduct room inspections three times a year and occasionally carry out health and safety checks. During these inspections, we will need to enter your room. However, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance and will knock on the door and introduce ourselves before entering.
How big is the fridge in the studio? Is there freezer space?
All the single rooms come with a small refrigerator that has a freezer compartment.
Can I bring a rice cooker/electric pressure cooker?
Please avoid carrying these items (or similar high voltage items). Their high voltage poses a danger and may result in electric shock.

We do not provide airport shuttle services. However, all our locations have convenient transportation links. Depending on your location, you can use buses, trains, and taxis.
Is there a lease takeover service? What is the application process?
