Tanekaha apartments and studio units are self-catered and a good living option for new and returning students aged between 25 and 30 years. Located next to Matipo apartments, Tanekaha residents are just a short stroll away from Te Rito and Student Central.

Three four or five bedroom apartments with two bathrooms, for 14 residents, and 12 studio units with kitchenette and en-suite bathrooms, for 12 residents.
Single occupancy. Apartments are suitable for students aged 21 to 25 years. Studio units are suitable for ages 25 to 30 years.
Fully furnished. Everything you need to study, relax and rest.
Access to Te Rito social hub and facilities.
Less than a two minute walk to Student Central and the library.

Support
Residential staff provide pastoral care and support 24/7.
Six Residential Assistants live onsite within the halls to provide after-hours support.
A residential life programme of activities and events is run throughout the year.
We focus on community building, well-being, life skills and academic success.

Catering
Self-catered. Residents cook their own meals in their accommodation.

Internet
Wireless internet is provided throughout the village and is inclusive of room rate.

Heating
The living area and each bedroom has a heater.

Furniture
Basic furniture and whiteware is provided. Each bedroom comes with a desk, chair, noticeboard, bookshelf and wardrobe with drawers and a mirror. Apartments have fully furnished kitchen, dining and lounge areas, with a king-single bed in each bedroom. Studio units have a fully furnished kitchenette and come with a queen size bed. Residents can bring their own towels and bedding or purchase a linen pack at a cost of $125.00.

Laundry
The laundry is located at the rear of Te Rito, with 24-hour access. Card-operated washing machines and dryers available at a cost of $3 per load. You will need to provide the washing powder.

Parking
Car parks are available outside the building. Parking is $125 per semester.

A free bike rack is located outside Te Rito.

Te Rito social hub
Te Rito is a communal social hub for all residents of Te Ōhanga village. Facilities available to residents are a:
