Are towels and sheets included in my room at UniLodge Toowong?

No, you need to bring your own towels, blankets, sheets and pillows. You can purchase these items upon arrival at a retail store, or from us, if it is convenient for you.

how often to pay rent

You must pay your weekly rent every fortnight and it is your responsibility under your Tenancy Agreement to ensure that rent is paid at least two weeks in advance at all times.

Are pets allowed at UniLodge Toowong?

No, animals other than guide, hearing or walking dogs are not permitted for health and safety reasons.

Will my rent price go up?

Rent is fixed for 6 or 12 months upon signing of the contract. If you decide to stay on your current tenancy, the weekly rate for your new contract may increase – any increase will always be announced in advance.

Can I bring children?

Children cannot live at Urbanest as we are built and run exclusively for students.

can i choose a roommate

You can choose your preference of who you live with, although we will do our best to accommodate your request, it is subject to room availability.

What happens if I damage or destroy something?

Any property damaged by accident or intent will be repaired and the cost of repairing or replacing goods will be borne by the resident.

Is the apartment near the station?

Generally no more than 5 minutes on foot.

Is there security in the apartment building?

Yes, all of our apartment buildings have CCTV cameras installed in common areas of the building, entry points and corridors and these cameras operate 24 hours a day. Our apartments also operate on an electronic swipe card system and have four levels of access control procedures - including building, floor, apartment and bedroom. Access to the building during office hours is only permitted by persons with authorized room keys. Bedrooms at Iglu Kelvin Grove use standard locks, no swipe cards.
