There is a supermarket right next to the Iglu Brisbane City, which is very convenient for shopping; Aquarius Health & Medispa and Stretch Yoga Brisbane CBD are just 1 minute's walk away, and for the shopping centre, you can go to FudoDori, Saiyuki, which is just 5 minutes walk away. Coffee Iconic is an 11-minute walk away, and Brisbane City Botanic Gardens is a 4-minute walk after dinner.

 

Transport:

Iglu Brisbane City student accommodation is conveniently located in the centre of Brisbane. Students here have easy access to all public transport to the universities.

  • Train: Central Station is a 10-minute walk from Iglu Brisbane City. Travelling to the University of Queensland by train takes about 35 minutes, including one stopover. At Central Station, take the train to Toowong and transfer to a bus to St Lucia Campus. Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is easier to get to, with a train from Central Station to Kelvin Grove Campus taking about 10 minutes.
  • Bus: Students can catch some bus routes from the Roma Street Busway Station. Travelling to Griffith University's Nathan Campus takes approximately 30 minutes and is a direct journey on the 555 Express. Bus routes to the University of Queensland are frequent and take about 20 minutes on bus 66.
  • Light Rail: Brisbane's Light Rail system is also a convenient way to get around. Students can board the train at George Street Station and travel to the Gardens Point Campus of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in about 15 minutes.

Are utilities included in the rent?

Yes, your rent includes gas, water, electricity and wifi.

Are towels and sheets included?

No, you need to bring your own towels, blankets, sheets and pillows. You can purchase these items upon arrival at a retail store, or from us, if it is convenient for you.

Will my rent price go up?

Rent is fixed for 6 or 12 months upon signing of the contract. If you decide to stay on your current tenancy, the weekly rate for your new contract may increase – any increase will always be announced in advance.
