The flats offer students Studio and Shared accommodation, with individual studios, doubles and spacious two and six-bedroom apartments to suit your needs. The rooms are modernly furnished. The restaurant district of South Bank near the flats offers international cuisine for you and your friends and a short walk back to the comfort of your home after a good meal.

UniLodge South Bank Apartments offers a variety of room types, including Studio, Shared Room and Suite. All rooms are air-conditioned, turnkey and fully furnished with beds, built-in wardrobes and desks and chairs, appliances such as fridges, microwaves and gas hobs, limited parking, laundry facilities and secure bike storage. The flat offers a cosy communal lounge on each floor. The flat also offers a courtyard BBQ, media room, broadband, kitchen diner and study room. There is also a small cinema, dining area, and a study room where you can meet new friends and socialise with fellow students during your studies.

 

Location and What's Hot?

UniLodge South Bank is located close to the centre of Brisbane, with the Brisbane CBD just across the river, so you'll never be short of activities, dining venues and entertainment options. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area, check out Lamberts Restaurant, Uncle Wang Restaurant and Bar, which are relatively close to the flat and are all good, so you can choose from various cuisines to suit your taste. For a coffee break, you can go to The Jetty South Bank, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and for supermarkets next to the flat, you can go to One Stop Express Mart, Woolworths Metro Southpoint, and if you want to go to a big shopping centre, you can go to the cinema. Southpoint South Bank, Stanley Street Plaza, cinemas, bars, banks, and hospitals are next to the flat.

 

Transport:

UniLodge South Bank is ideally close to major universities and tertiary institutions. Your daily commute will be a breeze, with trains, buses and ferries only a few minute's walk away. Getting to the University of Queensland is an 18-minute bike ride or 29 minutes on public transport. Walk 14 minutes or cycle 6 minutes to Queensland University of Technology. The Griffith University Queensland College of the Arts Southbank Campus can be reached in approximately 4 minutes by walking 300 metres. Bike about 8 minutes to QUT Botanic Gardens Campus. Bus stops next to the flat are South Bank busway station, platform 1, South Bank busway station. 13 13-minute walk to the train station in South Brisbane and 24 minutes by car to Brisbane Airport.

It is very convenient. Next to it are buses and railway stations. It can be reached directly from school to downtown to the seaside. Next to it is Achor. You can also walk to the river for a walk.

We totally understand that life doesn’t always go to plan, which is why we want to ensure that you have peace of mind when you book with UniLodge*.

Prior to my lease commencing?

If you were not successful in receiving a visa to study in Australia before the commencement of your lease start date, we ask that you complete the following actions:

A written email requesting cancellation, which must be submitted to the property at which your booking is held within 24 hours of you receiving notification from the Department of Home Affairs, along with the email from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. You will then be formally advised that your lease agreement will then be cancelled without penalty.

After the commencement of my lease?

If you are cancelling after the commencement of your lease date due to not receiving a visa to study in Australia we ask that you complete the following actions:

A written email notify that you wish to terminate your lease, which must be submitted to the property at which your booking is held within 24 hours of you receiving notification from the Department of Home Affairs, along with the email from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. The Property Manager will consider your request for the breaking of your lease and advise whether your request has been accepted.

There is no application fee.

Do I need to pay rent in advance?

yes. Tenants must pay 2 weeks' rent in advance and a security deposit (deposit) of 4 weeks' rent. The security deposit should be paid to the Residential Tenancy Authority (RTA).

Is there a parking space?

Yes, there are 19 parking spaces available for $55 a week. There are also 426 free bicycle spaces.
