The building is across the road from Deakin University Gate 3. This brand-new boutique flat was completed and opened in 2019 and features 15 large studio flats. Each flat comes with an intercom security entry and a double bed. The building also has a communal laundry room. Tram 75 is located 500 metres from the building on the Burwood Highway, providing access to local shops in minutes or Melbourne city centre in approximately 30 minutes.

 

Features:

77 Elgar Road offers mainly studios to meet students' requirements for privacy. Each room has comfortable beds, spacious desks, ample storage space and modern amenities. Rooms 1 to 7 are located on the ground floor, and 8 to 15 are on the ground floor. The infrastructure of the hostel is designed to seamlessly support student life, with high-speed internet access available throughout the building to ensure that students can stay connected and productive. The flats have full kitchens with gas stoves, microwaves and refrigerators, spacious and stylish bathrooms, dining tables/desks and chairs, dry cleaners, split air-conditioning, colour televisions and built-in wardrobes. In terms of outdoor facilities, the student residences have scenic gardens and recreational areas where students can relax and socialise. A well-equipped gym with various fitness equipment and weight lifting machines is available in the residence to help residents maintain good fitness habits. In addition, the building has strong security measures in place, including secure entrances, CCTV surveillance systems and round-the-clock security personnel to ensure the safety of all residents.
