For the University of Melbourne, the fastest route during peak hours is the 109 tram, which runs every 10 minutes. Off-peak, the quickest train service is from Box Hill to Flagstaff, then a short walk away. For Monash University, bus 733 is a direct route, but during peak hours it's often quicker to take the train from Box Hill to Syndal and then catch bus 703. Finally, for RMIT University, it is most efficient to take a direct train to Melbourne Central Station at any time of the day.
