Yes, we were assigned to the shaded side of the first floor. Initially, they said we would be assigned to the fifth floor of the new high-rise, but this location is great, facing the pool, very quiet, and the first floor is quite convenient. The transportation nearby is convenient; there is a Woolworths Metro just 100 meters away, and an Aldi 800 meters away, so shopping is pretty easy. It's also close to the University of Melbourne. If it weren't for the ongoing construction at Melbourne Uni, it should take less than 10 minutes to reach the square directly; now it takes about 10-15 minutes. The lack of air conditioning is difficult, but I can tolerate this drawback of the old building; I can just buy a small fan for the summer. In winter, we have electric heaters.
