Depending on the property, you can choose between apartments with a minimum lease term of 6 to 12 months. However, during this rental period you must always be studying. Please note that the return of your apartment to us is one week before the end of the rental period, in order to be able to carry out cleaning, maintenance and repair measures necessary due to the use of the apartment and for a direct follow-up rentals. We have calculated the rent on the basis of an effective term shortened by one week, so that this regulation does not represent an economic disadvantage for you. Of course, if you extend your stay with us and continue to reside in your apartment, no prior move-out is required between your old lease and your new lease. EN: What rental contract terms are available and what does this have to do with the 1 week early move out? Depending on the property, you can choose between apartments with a minimum term of 6 to 12 months. However, you must always be studying during this rental period. Please note that your apartment must be returned to us one week before the end of the rental period in order to and to be able to carry out the cleaning, maintenance and repair work required for a direct subsequent rental. We have calculated the rent on the basis of an effective term shortened by one week, so that this regulation does not represent an economic disadvantage for you. If you wish to extend your stay with us If you extend your contract and continue to live in your apartment, you do not need to move out between your old and new rental contract. _________________________________________________________________ What happens after booking on ? Important: After your booking on has been confirmed, you must confirm your reservation again in our Finalize the system. The following will happen to you: 1. You will receive a link to our website by email. 2. On our website you must now select the apartment type that you secured on . 3. You will then receive password-protected access to our app and can upload your registration certificate and a copy of your ID card or passport and confirm the contract. 4. We will then check your details and if everything is correct, you will receive an automatic email with a request to pay the deposit. and our one-off handling fee (this is independent of the booking fee!) 5. As soon as there are no more outstanding payments (within the next 5 working days) and the money has arrived with us, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation email. 6. Please note that the booking should be completed via our system no later than 7 days after booking on . After 7 days, the room is no longer reserved for you and can be booked by others. Shortly before the start of the semester, reservations can be only be held for 2 days. A refund of the costs paid so far is not guaranteed in this case. You will receive a link to our website by e-mail. 2. On our website, you have to select the apartment type you have booked on . 3. As the next step, you will receive password-protected access to our app where you can upload your enrolment certificate, as well as a copy of your ID card or passport, and confirm the contract. 4. Afterwards, we will check your details, and if everything fits you will receive an automatic e-mail with the payment request of the deposit and our one-off handling fee (this payment differs from the booking fee!). 5. As soon as there are no more pending payments (within the next 5 business days) and we have received the money, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation e-mail. 6. Please note that the booking through our system should be completed no later than 7 days after booking on . After 7 days, the room is no longer reserved for you and can be booked by others. Just before the semester starts, reservations can only be held for 2 days. In this case, a refund of the costs paid so far is not guaranteed.
