Our bed with a feel-good factor, extra storage space and shelf space, your own workstation and additional dining area, sufficient storage space throughout the room, a stylish pantry kitchen with microwave, ceramic hob and refrigerator and a modern shower room make your apartment a small space miracle. Laundry and cleaning service Whether you need a clean outfit or a meeting point for the evening, the laundry has everything you need. Washing machines and dryers (for an additional charge) are available in a unique lounge with chilled sofas and snack machines. This makes doing laundry something to look forward to. In addition, a cleaning service can be booked at any time to get your apartment in shape. (extra charge) IP-TV For the greatest possible flexibility, we have made it possible to connect your laptop, tablet, or whatever else you bring with you to our IP-TV service so that you can surf all channels without any problems. Two weeks before departure, our onsite team will inspect the studio. If the studio is in poor condition, we will ask you to leave the studio early (maximum 2 weeks) as it must be clean for the next guest. Whatever the condition of your room, you can always book a cleaning service to help keep things fresh and free of all that unintended clutter. (extra charge) IP-TV To keep things flexible, we've made it possible to hook up your laptop, tablet, or whatever other device you might have to our IP-TV service, letting you surf channels without any hassle. Two weeks before you check out our renting team will check out the studio. If the studio is in a bad shape, we will ask you to leave earlier as it has to be clean for the next guest. If it is in a terrible shape, we might ask you to move out earlier. Max 2 weeks so that our cleaning team can get it ready for the next tenant. Cancellation / Cancellation Covid-19/20/21 English: Usually the lease has fixed term and dates and may not be cancelled. Cancellation will only be accepted if there is an important reason. Important reasons for a cancellation are: Not a student anymore, illness-case, death in the family ... In the current, special situation, the following points, among others, are considerate as an "important reason" and therefore allow the cancellation or change of the rental contract: 1) Entry or exit ban in the corresponding country of origin/travel country (for Germany, there is a current entry ban from all non-EU countries) 2) Request from the government of the home country of the respective tenant to return immediately to the home country (in case the student is indeed forced to go back) 3) Cancellation of the complete Erasmus or study program/internship In these cases, a cancellation of the rental contract according to §2.2 of the rental contract is legally possible. If any of these points apply to you, please feel free to contact our reservations department. Please be aware that we need a proof of the reason why you want to cancel your contract and an enquiry as PDF. The change to online(hidden)sses won't be accepted as an important reason. English: The rental contract usually has a fixed term and fixed dates and cannot be terminated. I am hereby sending you the information in case of cancellation: All our rental contracts are legally binding and have a limited term and can only be terminated for "important reason ". Cancellation will only be accepted if there is an important reason. Important reasons for cancellation are: no longer a student, illness, death in the family, visa has not been confirmed... Below you will find the information when a cancellation / Change due to Corona is accepted: In the current, special situation, the following points are considered as "important reasons" and therefore allow the termination or modification of the rental agreement: 1) Entry or exit ban in the respective country of origin/travel country (for Germany there is currently a ban on entry from all non-EU countries) 2) Request from the government of the home country of the respective tenant to return to the home country immediately (in the event that the student is actually forced to return) 3) Cancellation of the entire Erasmus or Study program/internship Our reservation team will be happy to help you with any further questions. Please note that if any of the above points apply, we require official proof/confirmation and an application as a PDF. In addition, the switch to digital teaching is not a reason for cancellation. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ What happens after booking on ? Important: After your booking has been confirmed on , you mustreservation again in our system. The following will happen to you: 1. You will receive a link to our website by email. 2. On our website you now have to select the apartment type that you secured on . 3. You will then receive password-protected access to our app and can upload your certificate of enrollment and a copy of your ID card or passport and confirm the contract. 4. We will then check your details and if everything is correct you will receive an automatic email with a request to pay the deposit and our one-off handling fee (this is independent of the booking fee!) 5. As soon as there are no more payments outstanding (within the next 5 working days) and the money has arrived with us, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation email. 6. Please note that the booking should be completed via our system no later than 7 days after booking on . After 7 days the room is no longer reserved for you and can be booked by others. Shortly before the start of the semester, reservations can only be held for 2 days. In this case, a refund of the costs paid so far is not guaranteed. You will receive a link to our website by e-mail. 2. On our website, you have to select the apartment type you have booked on . 3. As the next step, you will receive password-protected access to our app where you can upload your enrolment certificate, as well as a copy of your ID card or passport, and confirm the contract. 4. Afterwards, we will check your details, and if everything fits you will receive an automatic e-mail with the payment request of the deposit and our one-off handling fee (this payment differs from the booking fee!). 5. As soon as there are no more pending payments (within the next 5 business days) and we have received the money, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation e-mail. 6. Please note that the booking through our system should be completed no later than 7 days after booking on . After 7 days, the room is no longer reserved for you and can be booked by others. Just before the semester starts, reservations can only be held for 2 days. In this case, a refund of the costs paid so far is not guaranteed.
