Campomanes street is in the center of Madrid, in the Opera area, near the Palace and the Royal Theater and Puerta del Sol. It is a very touristy area where there are many cinemas, theaters, cafes and restaurants. Also nearby is "Madrid Rio", an old highway converted into a wonderful park for walking, running, skating, cycling, etc. The student residence on Campomanes Street (Opera) was inaugurated in 2000 and currently offers 10 beds and an independent apartment. The residence enjoys a privileged location as it is located in the elegant and stately area surrounding the Royal Palace, the Almudena Cathedral, the Plaza de Oriente and the Sabatini gardens. 5 minutes away, we find the historic Austrias neighborhood. In the other direction, taking a walk, we reach the Parque de las Vistillas (where, in summer, the Madrid Paloma festival and the San Isidro festival take place), the Puerta de Toledo and the area of the Manzanares river and Madrid River (an extensive green area of Madrid that surrounds the river, where sports, cycling and skating are practiced). In this area we find the Riviera room and the old Madrid Matadero, important art venues, parties and concerts. Services Each residence is organized as a shared apartment. The residences are mixed and in each of them live between 6 and 12 students of different nationalities who share the bathrooms (one for every four students) and the kitchen-TV room.
