12 students live together and share the kitchen, 4 bathrooms and appliances. The student residence on Chinchilla Street is a modern residence that has 12 beds. Opened in 1998, it is located between Gran Vía and Puerta del Sol and very close to Plaza del Carmen. In Plaza del Carmen we find the Acteón cinema, several nightclubs, shops and terraces. Eight essential streets lead to Puerta del Sol, one of the most famous places in Madrid. From the Chinchilla residence, if we go east, in 5 minutes we will reach the bohemian and emerging area of Chueca and Tribunal, with a wide range of restaurants, concert halls, nightclubs and art galleries. If we walk west, 10 minutes away we find the multicultural neighborhood of Lavapiés, very close to the La Casa Encendida art center, the Circo Price Theater and the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums. Each residence is organized as a shared apartment. The Easo residences are mixed and in each of them live between 6 and 12 students of different nationalities who share the bathrooms (one for every four students) and the kitchen-TV room.
