Matipo apartments are self-catered and a good living option for new and returning students. Situated between Tanekaha and Titoki apartments, Matipo residents are just a short stroll away from Te Rito and Student Central.

Six, four or five bedroom apartments, each with two bathrooms and balcony access.
Suitable for students aged 21 to 25 years.
Fully furnished. Everything you need to study, relax and rest.
Access to Te Rito social hub and facilities.
Less than a two minute walk to Student Central and the library.

Residential staff provide pastoral care and support 24/7.
Six Residential Assistants live onsite within the halls to provide after-hours support.
A residential life programme of activities and events is run throughout the year.

Catering
Self-catered. Residents cook their own meals in their apartment.

Internet
Wireless internet is provided throughout the village and is inclusive of room rate.

Heating
The living area is heated and each bedroom has a heater.

Furniture
Basic furniture and whiteware is provided. Fully furnished kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Each bedroom comes with a king single bed, desk, chair, noticeboard, bookshelf and wardrobe with drawers and a mirror. Residents can bring their own towels and bedding or purchase a linen pack at a cost of $125.00.

Laundry
The laundry is located at the rear of Te Rito, with 24-hour access. Card-operated washing machines and dryers available at a cost of $3 per load. You will need to provide the washing powder.

Parking
Car parks are available outside the apartment building. Parking is $125 per semester.

A free bike rack is located outside Te Rito.

Te Rito social hub
Te Rito is a communal social hub for all residents of Te Ōhanga village. Facilities available to residents are a:
