Hanna from Yixiang Haoju 🆙!<br> I studied all my books in China before and had a very different experience in a new city like Washington – at first, I was very worried about encountering scammers, but I was quite lucky and didn't encounter any. They also don't charge a brokerage fee, and the customer service representative Hanna I met was super attentive, plus she was really fun! However, this period is towards the end of the rental season, so many apartments that could be rented from August were already gone – in the end, I and my roommate I found managed to get Hanna to help us find a roommate. During the application process, the apartment was slow in sending the contract and signing it back, but she kept urging the apartment for us.

The accommodation is quite acceptable, but some facilities are relatively old.
The apartment is very old, and the internet needs to be installed by oneself. The sound insulation is poor; normal voice conversations between rooms can be heard. At the same time, the staff of the foreign housing service have poor service. They promised rewards for recommending newcomers, but in the end, there were none. After more than four months, I was informed that the newcomer I recommended did not fill in my name as the referrer during registration. Pure fraud—suspected that the referral rewards have been embezzled by the salesperson.
