Troy East is a large apartment building conveniently located a block north of campus. The building is dedicated to providing a wide range of affordable apartment types to graduate students studying for their master's degrees in a variety of disciplines.

The building features multiple configurations that offer the privacy of a two person apartment or the social and economic benefits of a two-bedroom apartment for four students. The bathrooms in the two bedroom units have separate toilet, shower, and sink rooms for maximum utility and privacy. Along with recently remodeled bathrooms and kitchens, each apartment has a through-wall air-conditioning unit in the living room. A recent renovation replaced all the windows and sliding glass balcony doors, adding more soundproofing and reducing heat transfer.
