(b) You will be entitled to get a full refund of your deposit if you have provided us with written notice at least 30 days’ prior to the Agreement start date. Canceling with less than 30 days’ written notice before the start date (a) If you request to cancel your Agreement less than 30 days before the Agreement start date, we will cancel your Agreement. (b) However, you will not be entitled to receive a refund of your deposit unless you can provide written evidence to The Switch that your cancellation is due to one or more of the following circumstances: (i) your Australian visa application was rejected; (ii) your Australian university place offer was withdrawn; or (iii) your employment was terminated by your employer before the Agreement start date. Change of Arrival Date for S1, 2022 Students who are currently not in Western Australia but wish to return to Australia for S1, 2022 are able to request to defer their arrival date up to 31st March 2022. Deferral request email should be sent to hello@switchliving.com.au prior to original the contract start date to obtain approval to change start date. Defer to S2, 2022 For students with an existing booking who has also paid and executed the residential tenancy agreement, we will defer their start date to semester 2 free of charge upon receiving deferral request email from the student. Emails should be sent to hello@switchliving.com.au prior to the original contract start date to arrange the deferral.
