It is a 10–15 minute walk to campus, with no need to take public transport, making it very convenient for deadlines and early morning classes. ES‑Marks light rail station is a 5–8 minute walk away, with L2/L3 lines going directly to the CBD and Chinatown. Centennial Park is nearby, making it easy to go for walks or runs. The surrounding area has cafés, small supermarkets, and pharmacies, and overall safety in the Kensington residential area is quite good.
2. All-inclusive bills, hassle-free, with free laundry and drying as the biggest plus
Rent includes water, electricity, and internet. Each person gets 4 free laundry and drying sessions per week, so there is no need to buy a washing machine; many international students find this very practical. There are plenty of parcel lockers. The building has 24-hour CCTV and access control, with front desk staff working 7 days a week. Maintenance requests generally receive positive feedback, and repairs are handled relatively promptly.
