Convenient living, good facilities, quiet at night, overall experience is quite good.
Much quieter than in the city—you can barely hear police cars or trains, and there aren’t any mysterious teens yelling at night.
There’s an IGA nearby, but the prices are higher than at Coles and Woolworths.
The room is small but fine for normal daily life. The hot water comes quickly, but the internet speed is average—you can play games, but videos often buffer.

Events are held every month, and you can choose to join the ones you’re interested in. The front desk staff are very welcoming and resolve issues quickly.

I rented at IGLU Summer Hill Student Accommodation for 50 weeks, and the rental period provided by the apartment was very suitable for me. This apartment is just a three-minute walk from Summer Hill subway station, and it takes about half an hour by subway plus walking to get to USYD (it takes about the same time to get to UTS).
There are supermarkets and restaurants near the apartment. The apartment offers study rooms, but there aren't many, so they need to be shared. The rooms have a long rectangular structure, with decent lighting and ventilation.
