• Train
  Newtown Apartments are close to Sydney's rail network, with the nearest train stations being Newtown Station or Erskineville Station, both of which are within walking distance. You can easily travel from both stations to Sydney's city centre, the airport, and other major city areas using the Sydney Trains system.
• Buses
  The Newtown area has a well-developed bus network with multiple bus routes intersecting the region, providing residents and visitors convenient travelling services.
  Major bus routes: These include, but are not limited to, routes 431, 432, 433, 436, 438, etc. These buses connect Newtown with popular locations such as Sydney city centre, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour, and more.
• Light Rail
  Whilst there is no direct Light Rail stop near Newtown Apartments, Sydney Light Rail covers the rest of the city, explicitly connecting the Central Business District (CBD) with several suburbs south of Sydney.

How and when to get to the universities:

University of Sydney:
Take the train to Central Station and transfer to a 400 series bus (e.g. 431) to the Sydney Uni Stop, which takes about 30 minutes.

University of Wales (UNSW Sydney):
Take the train to Kensington Station, exit the station, and walk about 10 minutes to the campus. The journey takes about 25 minutes.

Macquarie University:
Due to the distance, it is recommended that you take the train to Epping Station and then transfer to the school bus or bus line. The whole journey will take about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Western Sydney University:
Depending on the campus, travelling routes and times may vary. Generally speaking, you may need to take the train to stations such as Parramatta or Liverpool first and then transfer to other means of transport. The whole journey will take at least one hour.
