Iglu Central Student Accommodation is located in a busy phase, right next to a variety of restaurants, various cafes, bars and cinemas, and the Italian restaurant Andiamo Trattoria Chippendale, which is a two-minute walk away. If you want a burger, you can walk 2 minutes to Ribs & Burgers Chippendale, which is delicious. There is also a Sicilian restaurant next door. If you want to go to the mall, you can go to Glue Store Central Park, which is a lot of fun. Walk two minutes to Maldini's Espresso Central for coffee and enjoy the bustling Sydney life—there are plenty of places to eat and drink around the flat to take your time and savour.

Iglu Central Student Accommodation in Sydney is well-connected through various transport options, including trains, buses, and light rail, providing students with quick and easy access to several universities.
Trains: Central Student Accommodationis a short walk from Central Station, the largest train station in Sydney. Students can catch a train to the University of Sydney, which takes approximately 5 minutes from here. The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is even closer, reachable within a 2-minute walk from Central Station. Students attending the University of New South Wales (UNSW) can take a train to Central Station and a bus (M50) from Stand M, totalling a travel time of around 25 minutes.
Bus: Numerous bus routes pass near Iglu Central Student Accommodation. For instance, students can catch the 428 bus to the University of Sydney, which takes about 10 minutes. The 393 and 395 buses run directly to UNSW via Central Station, and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
Light Rail: The light rail service is also convenient, with the Central Station stop a stone's throw away. The L2 Randwick Line and L3 Kingsford Line offer easy access to the CBD and extend to the UNSW Kensington campus. It takes around 20 minutes from Central Station to the UNSW High Street stop.

Will the price of my rent increase?
The price of your rent is fixed for the 6 or 12-month period that you sign a contract for. If you decide to stay on beyond your current lease, the weekly fee of the new contract may increase – any rate increase will always be advertised in advance.
How often is rent paid?
Your weekly rent is required to be paid fortnightly, and you are responsible for ensuring that your rent is paid a minimum of two weeks in advance at all times in accordance with your Residential Tenancy Agreement.
What credit cards do you accept?
You can pay using Visa, Mastercard or Amex.Currently this surcharge is 1.8% of the payment amount but is subject to change.
Do I have to be a student to live at Iglu?
Yes – it is a condition of your stay here at Iglu that you must be currently enrolled and attending a course within an Australian Tertiary Institution.
Is there 24 hour onsite support?
Yes, there is an Iglu team member is onsite and available 24×7 to provide our students with support and assistance at any time.
Are there organised events?
Yes, we have a comprehensive program of social, academic, sport, wellbeing and cultural events. These are organised by our dedicated team of staff and Resident Leaders (RLs) who are always keen to receive feedback or ideas for future events and activities.
Do you offer airport pick-ups?
No free airport pick-ups. You can use Uhomes Airport Pick-up.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Yes, your rent includes gas, water and electricity.
Is internet included in the rent?
Yes, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi is included in your weekly rent and you have to this throughout the building.
How old do I have to be to live at Iglu?
You must also be at least 18 years of age at the time of signing the lease
Can I choose who I live with?
When filling out your application form, you can put in preferences regarding who you would like to live with, and whilst we will do our best to meet your requests, it will be determined by room availability – so we advise you to apply as soon as you can so there’s more options for you.
Can I live with my partner?
Whilst there are a limited number of studios available for couples to rent, all other rooms within Iglu are sole-occupancy.
Are pets allowed at Iglu?
There is a strict no pet policy at all Iglu properties. No animals of any sort, are permitted in the building at any time this includes fish, birds or reptiles! This policy does not apply to students requiring the assistance of a seeing or hearing guide dog.
Do I need to bring my own towels and bed linen?
Yes - you need to bring your own towels, blankets, sheets and pillows.
