Most students look for shared housing in Essex from May, although there will be student accommodation available all year round. First year and international students generally start looking in January for halls of residence.

The cost of accommodation in Essex will vary based on your preference. A cozy shared house in Essex can be yours for just £178.38 per week.

How do students look for accommodation in Essex?

University Accommodation Services: Many universities, including the University of Essex, offer accommodation services to assist students in finding suitable housing.

Online Platforms: Students frequently use online platforms and websites dedicated to studio apartment Essex. That's why I recommend using uhomes, an online platform dedicated to helping students find their perfect home away from home!

Social Media Groups: Many universities have official social media groups or pages where students can connect and share information, including accommodation listings. Students often create Facebook groups or join existing ones specifically to find accommodation in Essex.
