Common FAQ:
● I only have one person, no roommate, can I rent?
Of course, the apartment offers a personal rental. Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for part of his or her own public area and bedroom, unlike the joint leasing of many apartments or rental houses. If your roommate has transferred to another school for some reason or moved to another apartment, you don't have to worry about paying their rent.
If there is no roommate, the apartment will be automatically assigned. If there is no roommate, you need to match, you need to fill in the apartment roommate match table, the apartment will match according to your requirements, but it will not match the roommate who fully meets the requirements.

● My rental period is less than one year, I rented for 11.5 months, why did I pay 12 rents?
The student apartment is actually the total rent (for example, 11.5 months) charged according to your actual rental period. It is divided into 12 instalments for reasons such as calculation and management convenience. In this case, whether the apartment is called 12 month installment (the contract on the apartment is written), not rents, it means 12 months instalment.
In order to facilitate the management, the apartment generally pays rent on the 1st of each month. A late fee may be incurred later than the apartment's specified time. Details can be found in the contract terms.

● How to pay rent?
The property does not accept cash and can use a cheque, money order or online payment.

●Allow pets? How to charge?
can. A pet deposit + rent is required (see the pet terms of the apartment).

● When can I check in at the local time? How to apply?
It is generally only possible to check in during the working hours of the apartment. Advance/late check-in is required to contact the property in advance, subject to the requirements of the apartment. General student apartments cannot be accommodated earlier than the date of rent.
With documents, electronic version of rental contract, electronic version of rental insurance, check-in

●What is rental insurance? Why should I buy rental insurance?
Most of the students rarely deal with "insurance" before coming to the United States, but after coming to the United States, dealing with insurance companies has become an inevitable thing: buying a car to buy insurance, seeing a doctor to buy insurance, renting a house most The property will also ask the tenant to purchase Ranter Insurance, which is subject to the apartment’s request. Most insurance options can be paid monthly or annually. Rental insurance costs are quite cheap, with an average of $20 per month, and the amount of insurance will vary depending on your coverage, area and selected items; avoiding property damage At the same time, when liability disputes occur, reduce your own compensation losses.

●Is it possible to check out early if the rental period has not arrived?
Under normal circumstances, it is not possible unless someone who can be subleased is found. Once a long-term lease is signed, the tenant will have to pay the rent for the entire lease period. Even if the tenant can't move, the apartment still has the right to ask the tenant to pay all the rent, subject to the apartment requirements and the rental contract.

● What do I need to do if I rent out?
If you do not renew your lease, you have to move it. Generally, you need to inform the apartment 60-90 days in advance. If you don't tell, the apartment may be renewed automatically. Generally, there are provisions on the contract, which are subject to the contract and the explanation of the apartment.

●What if the bedroom or apartment needs repair?
If you need maintenance, simply log in to the Resident Portal on the apartment website and fill out the maintenance request. You can also call or go to the front desk. In case of emergency, please inform the front desk immediately or call 911.

● Will the apartment collect my parcels? Is it ok before check in?
Yes, in general, the apartment will only collect the parcel after the contract has been rented.

● What do I need to bring to the apartment?
The apartment is recommended with: bedding, daily necessities, kitchen utensils (including pots and pans) and personal items.
