The area is known for its vibrant street life, cafes and restaurants. Mauerpark with its famous Sunday flea market, Mitte, Alexanderplatz, Hackesche Markt and the Berlin Wall Memorial are all within walking distance.

Public transport (Tram and Subway) as well as a bigger Supermarket are just 150m away. A late night kiosk for food and drinks is located other side of the street.
