After living with good friends for a year, the environment and facilities are very good. The most important thing is that the staff in the apartment are very nice and enthusiastic.

The safety factor is very high. It is close to the school. There is a supermarket downstairs. There is a supermarket and a Chinese restaurant (take away) across the road. It is very convenient to live and study. Generally speaking, I live very happily.

The sound insulation in the ensuit is very poor, I can even hear my roommate speaking in a muffled way. But this is how apartments are in the UK. On the first day I arrived, I found vomit in the vacuum cleaner and requested a replacement from the apartment official, which took two months to replace, and in the end, they even asked me for a fee. One day, the apartment asked us to do pest control, and we did it, but at that time, there were already no flying insects in the apartment. Then three days later, the apartment unilaterally notified us that they had performed paid pest control??? They asked each of us to pay over £70. The fees for every student’s apartment are really outrageous. The internet often has packet loss issues.

The sound insulation is terrible, and I can hear everything clearly from next door. Everything else is fine, and it's close to the school.

The apartment changed the heating system to temperature control before we moved in this summer. It automatically cuts off power when the temperature is reached, and it usually only runs for 20-40 minutes, so you have to keep getting up to turn on the heating at night. After mid-October, the room gets very cold, and you can't buy your own heater because the apartment will monitor your electricity usage. If they find that your electricity usage is high, they will suddenly come into your room under the pretext of a safety inspection to confiscate it, and they don't inform you in advance through email. However, this apartment is indeed very close to the school.

There are no major drawbacks, but there are quite a few minor ones. However, considering the price and proximity to the school, it's acceptable.
