Fraser Studios is a luxury student accommodation in Aberdeen. All high-quality studios are spacious and comfortable. Each room has a queen-sized bed, study area and modern integrated functional kitchen. The flats offer 100MB WiFi and a big communal lounge. Fraser Studios is ideally located just a 15-minute bus from the University of Aberdeen, with major shopping, shops and restaurants all within easy reach. The bustling city centre is a 10-minute walk from the flat.

 

Features

Fraser Studios Aberdeen offers 6 types of studios, the best single-room types. The rooms offer separate living spaces with all the functions of a study, kitchen and bedroom integrated inside, so students can take care of all their living needs without leaving home. All rooms in the flats are fully furnished with double beds, tables and chairs, bookshelves and wardrobes, and the small kitchen area is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and fridge.

 

Fraser Studios student accommodation is more than just a place to live. It's a vibrant community. The cinema screening room allows students to enjoy a film right on their doorstep, perfect for a cosy movie night. The games room is a hub of activity and camaraderie, where everyone can let off steam with a friendly competition. While the laundry room ensures that students are protected from the distractions of housework, the study room provides residents with a quiet, conducive environment for focused study. In addition, bicycle storage facilities protect everyone's property; vending machines are available late at night.

 

Location and What's Hot? 

Fraser Studios student apartment is ideally located near the University and only 10 minutes from Aberdeen city centre. Various shops surround the flat, such as the small shops and restaurants on Union Street. Along George's Street, you will find Aberdeen's second largest shopping centre, Bon Accord & St Nicholas Shopping Centre, with H&M, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Next, Topshop, WHSmith and many more.

 

Fraser Studios student housing is also a great place to live if you want to relax in your spare time. You can visit Queen's Link Leisure Park, next to the famous beach Sunset Boulevard, where you can watch films and enjoy good food. If you're interested in the arts, head to the Aberdeen Maritime Museum or the Aberdeen Art Gallery, martial arts, skateboarding or the high ropes challenge called 'The Rig'. Some of Aberdeen's best nightclubs also surround the flat, so whether you're looking to drink to your heart's content or have a quick drink with friends, walk or take a taxi to Union Street, where there's sure to be a bar for you.

 

Transport

The University of Aberdeen is 15 minutes by bus from the Fraser Studios, Aberdeen College can be reached on foot in 12 minutes, and Robert Gordon University is a little further away, 38 minutes by bus. If you travel to another city, you can take a bus to Aberdeen station in 11 minutes.

Fraser Studios has a 24-hour electronic access control system and video surveillance system are in operation at all times, and external visitors must pass through multiple electronic gates before entering the hostel. In addition, the hostel has its own independent facilities maintenance team

The environment is very good. The downstairs is Super League and lidl. It is very convenient. The storage space is sufficient. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry. The room has several garbage cans. Basically, most of the people I know live in this apartment. It is too convenient to get together with friends and classmates.

Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

Prospective international students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if they do not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their refusal of entry to the UK to study no later than 7 days after notification of their refusal.

Evidence can be a copy of the letter from the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration service or other official Visa issuing body as well as a letter from the university, sponsor or institution where they were supposed to be studying. It must clearly show the student's full name, address and date of issue. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, 3 Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.
Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

No Place No Pay

Prospective first year students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if, as a result of not achieving the required A-Level, Scottish Higher (or equivalent) results, they do not gain a place at their chosen university and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not gain a place at their chosen University or College and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their rejection and evidence of the reason why (proof of results achieved etc) no later than 3 working days after their results day.

Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the University/College/UCAS, or a screen shot of the customer's UCAS status along with the results etc. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.

Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale and provide the correct evidence will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

7 days cooling off period
You can cancel your booking up to 7 days after you accept your offer or pay your deposit, providing you have not already moved in to the property and the apartment will refund your security deposit in full. Deposits will normally be refunded within 28 working days of cancellation, however the legal obligation as a landlord is to secure all deposits with a third party protection scheme. In the event that your deposit has already been sent to the protection scheme by the time you cancel your booking, your refund could take up to 60 days to be refunded due to the protection scheme's processing period and your deposit refund will come directly from them - you will need your repayment ID which will be sent to you directly by the protection scheme. If the deposit has already been sent to the deposit protection scheme, then the apartment is unable to influence their processing time.

2.Out of Initial Cancellation Period
If you cancel your booking after the 7 day Initial Cancellation Period, you will remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until the apartment is able to re-let the room. If they are able to re-let the room they will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £50 variation of contract fee which they will recover by retaining part or all of your deposit. If you have paid a lower deposit amount, that's the amount that will be retained.

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review My Offer to enter the contract review interface, click CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE TENANCY AGREEMENT in the lower right corner again or enter the registered email to check the rent payment deadline on the contract. If you need to pay the rent, you can return to the homepage and click Review/Pay Statement to view the details of the payment plan. How to pay rent?

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review/Pay Statement to enter the payment interface, then tick the items that need to be paid, and click pay to enter the payment interface. The apartment supports online credit card payment (credit card is supported) or bank transfer 1. For online credit card payment, please ensure that the payment card type is one of the following four types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Carefully fill in the cardholder information, and please ensure that the payment card has sufficient credit, and the bank is opened and supports payment behavior. Please note that payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. For bank remittance, please contact the apartment to obtain the transfer account under the guidance of the consultant, and then complete the corresponding payment in the bank. However, please note that wire transfers can take several business days to arrive, so payment needs to be arranged in advance.

Is an installment purchase possible?

If you have a valid UK guarantor, you can choose to pay the rent in three installments, in September, January and April. If there is no valid UK guarantor, full rent must be paid 1 month before the start of the contract.
