The room is very large, very clean, and has no strange odors. The shared kitchen is especially spacious and new. The location is excellent, with a Chinese supermarket right downstairs, and it’s very close to M&S and the train station. The room has good soundproofing, the internet speed is fast, and the facilities are complete. Highly recommended!
Located in the heart of China city, just a 3-minute walk to the Bullring shopping center, 5 minutes to New Street train station, with Chinese supermarkets and various restaurants downstairs, shopping and traveling are extremely convenient, and Birmingham City University is just a few minutes' walk away, zero commuting pressure.
The True student accommodation in Birmingham offers a very good overall living experience. The apartment has comprehensive security, with access control at both the main entrance and room doors, and full CCTV coverage in the common areas, making it reassuring even when returning late. The rooms are spacious, newly decorated, with clean indoor carpeting and plenty of lighting. The furniture is fully equipped, including a bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and shelving. Each room also comes with a TV and ample storage space, so you can move in with just your luggage. The apartment is conveniently located for transportation, making commuting to the University of Birmingham very easy, and it is well suited for international students. The common areas are well maintained, with regular cleaning, making it a very comfortable student accommodation overall.
Pretty good overall, and it’s quite nice to live here~ The elevator is very convenient, there’s an access card, and the common areas are also very clean. The room has plenty of natural light, the air circulates well when the window is opened, the bathroom is clean with no unpleasant odors, the service is great, and there is a Chinese-speaking front desk.
The house is very big! The bed is also big! You can roll around without worrying about falling off! There are many activity rooms, and the kitchen has a dishwasher!!!! The ensuite refrigerator is also very large and has two stoves! Every month, someone helps organize the kitchen. I have never encountered theft in the apartment, and the reception has a Chinese-speaking front desk, with staff who are super friendly (I love Sid)! True is really the top choice in Birmingham!

Chinese students make up a relatively large proportion, about 90%. There is a Chinese-speaking front desk, and the living environment is quite comfortable. It is located in Chinatown, with all kinds of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby. Bus stops and train stations are also close by, making it convenient to go anywhere.

Overall, it’s completely move-in ready, with facilities that are very comprehensive and new. There’s a Chinese supermarket right downstairs, which made the initial transition seamless, and there are also large supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient. The location is unbeatable—right next to Chinatown and close to the downtown business district. The internet speed is fine for messaging; downloads are a bit slower but still usable, and it’s good enough for gaming. The soundproofing is indeed average, so it depends on your personal needs. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my first few days here.

However, the only downside is its location in Chinatown, which can be a bit noisy at night.
