The rooms are supplied with basic furniture and domestic appliances to help students settle into their new lives quickly. In addition, Brook Studios offers a variety of facilities, such as a gym, study room and laundry room. The flats are located in a lively area with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. They are conveniently located within walking distance of the University of Birmingham, Aston University and Birmingham City University via public transport.

 

Features

All 106 rooms at Brook Studios Birmingham are Studio-type, designed for students who prefer to live alone, combining all the functions of a bedroom, study and kitchen with an en-suite bathroom so students can allocate their space freely. All rooms are divided into 3 levels according to their size. Still, all rooms are equipped with double beds, desks, chairs, bookshelves and wardrobes, allowing students to live in a comfortable living environment. The kitchen area is also equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge and hob so students can cook anytime.

 

Brook Studios student accommodation offers various facilities designed for convenience, health, and efficiency. The gym is equipped with modern fitness equipment, providing students with a space to stay fit and release stress at the same time. And the laundry room aims to keep those tedious chores from interrupting students. Dedicated study rooms provide a quiet, focused environment to help students succeed academically. In addition, we offer secure bicycle storage facilities for students who prefer greener modes of transport.

 

Location and What's Hot? 

Brook Studios student housing may be away from the business district, but the street below is very lively, and life is enriched by the amenities nearby. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Heng Hing Hong and Seoul Plaza supermarkets are all within easy reach, ensuring students can quickly purchase their daily necessities. Those looking for a restaurant can try the tantalising Yakinori flavours, the hearty Beefyz fare, or the spicy excitement of Pepe's. When night falls, the Circo Student Bar and Goose Bar provide a relaxed environment in which to experience the local pub culture.

Brook Studios is just an 8-minute walk from the University of Birmingham, making it an excellent choice for students. The campus is an 11-minute drive away for students studying at Newman University. Aston University and Birmingham City University in Birmingham city centre are also within 24 minutes by bus. If students need to travel to other cities, Selly Oak train station is an 8-minute walk away.

Cancellation Policy

No Place No Pay

If You Don't Get a Place at University:
If you're a first-year prospective undergraduate student and your offer at your preferred higher education institute is withdrawn, Accommodation Supplier may be able to release you from your tenancy agreement if:
· You find a suitable replacement to take a new tenancy agreement for the rest of your tenancy. This person must: be at least 18 years old and enrolled as a full-time student in a university close to the accommodation; enter into a tenancy agreement with us and pay all sums due within it; and provide a guarantor where reasonable, who must accept the terms and conditions set out in the tenancy agreement; and
· you provide a written rejection letter from your chosen higher education institute; and
· you provide a copy of the acceptance letter from your new higher education institute.

Cancellation Policy

Where Accommodation Supplier accept your booking request, Accommodation Supplier will send you an offer of accommodation. You will need to accept the offer of accommodation online to confirm the booking. Accommodation Supplier reserve the right to withdraw an offer of accommodation at any time before it is accepted by you on the website. Please note that Accommodation Supplier's offer of accommodation shall automatically lapse if you do not confirm the booking within 10 days of receipt.

You can accept our offer of accommodation and confirm the booking by:
·logging into your account on the website
·providing details of your guarantor (if applicable);
·providing ID documentation and any further information which Accommodation Supplier may request from you; and reading through and signing your tenancy agreement.

Your booking will be confirmed and the contract to supply the accommodation created when you sign your tenancy agreement. You acknowledge and agree that once you have signed the tenancy agreement you will have no right to cancel the contract, and shall be liable to pay the full rent and any related fees relating to the accommodation for the duration of the tenancy.

Cancellation After You've Moved in:
If for any reason you decide to leave during your contracted term, Accommodation Supplier might be able to release you from your tenancy agreement. But only if these conditions are met:
· You agree not to transfer or sublet the tenancy to anyone else without our written consent, as in point 7.1(n) of the tenancy agreement.
· You find a suitable replacement to take a new tenancy agreement for the rest of your tenancy. This person must: be at least 18 years old and enrolled as a full-time student in a university close to the accommodation; enter into a tenancy agreement with us and pay all sums due within it; and provide a guarantor where reasonable, who must accept the terms and conditions set out in the tenancy agreement.
· You pay a £50 administration fee. Accommodation Supplier can't refund you until the student replacing you has taken over your room's contract, signed the tenancy agreement, paid, and moved in. If you can't find someone to take over your tenancy, you'll be responsible for paying the full rent until the end of your tenancy agreement.
