Northgate Point is a cheap student accommodation in Chester, but the rooms in the flats are all studio-type, perfect for students who prefer to live alone. The rooms are fully furnished and tastefully decorated, and a wide range of living appliances and kitchen utensils are provided so students can move in quickly and get used to living in a new environment. The flats are in a great location, close to Chester city centre and within walking distance of the University of Chester. Not only that, but the apartments are also surrounded by a variety of speciality markets and supermarket chains, making it easy to replenish daily necessities. And the wide choice of restaurants allows everyone to avoid eating difficulties.

Northgate Point Chester offers Studio rooms only, perfect for students who prefer a quieter environment. The rooms offer private living space and have all the features of a bedroom, kitchen, and den. The bedrooms also include private bathrooms, so students don't have to worry about privacy or hygiene. The rooms are furnished with furniture, including double beds, tables, chairs, bookshelves, and wardrobes. The kitchen area is also equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave and hob, and students can move into the room immediately. And in the communal area outside the room, Northgate Point also offers a laundry room to help students live without worrying about washing tasks.

Northgate Point student accommodation are famous and surrounded by various convenient amenities. There are supermarkets just around the corner, such as Tesco, International supermarket, Iceland and Morrison's, for all your daily needs. For food lovers, there are a number of delightful restaurants: Pacinos offers Italian flavours, Pierogi brings traditional Eastern European cuisine, and Frodsham's Grill serves hearty British dishes. Students living in Northgate Point have diverse transport options for travelling in Chester. For students attending the University of Chester, it is a convenient 16-minute walk to the university. Students attending Cheshire College - South & West Chester Campus can take a regular bus, which takes 21 minutes. Alternatively, Chester train station is an 11-minute walk away for those travelling further afield.

Northgate Point has a strict security system with video surveillance to ensure every detail is foolproof. The main entrance has an access control system to prevent outsiders from entering and ensure the safety of students. Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

‘Visa Rejection’. Students that require a visa to study in the UK may cancel their booking if their visa application has been rejected. The student must provide evidence of their visa application rejection letter within 7 days of notification before the move in date and if applicable a full refund will be given. Evidence must be sent via email to Accommodation Office.

No Place No Pay

‘First Year Guarantee’ – applicable to 1st year students only. Some of the accommodation managed by StudentFM allows first year students to cancel their tenancy agreement free of charge if their examination results change their plans: for example, a prospective tenant who fails to achieve the grades needed to take their place at their chosen university, or who surpasses their predicted grades and chooses to take a place at another university. If your chosen accommodation offers this guarantee, before you are released from your contract, you will be required to provide:
a. A rejection letter from your original university of choice
b. Where applicable, an acceptance letter from the new university

If a student transfers to a university in a city where StudentFM manages accommodation, StudentFM may (subject to availability) offer the student a tenancy at the new location on the same terms as the student’s original booking. If this offer is made and refused, the original contract will be cancelled, but StudentFM will charge a cancellation fee (not exceeding £100) and (if the tenancy has started) charge rent up to the date of cancellation.

All documentation must be received by us via email within 7 calendar days from the date your results are published.

Details

Can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking at any point however, you may still be liable for the rent on your room.

1. If you have not collected your keys for the accommodation, you may cancel your booking by emailing us on bookings@studentfm.co.uk within 7 days of you receiving your booking confirmation (7 day cooling off period). If you cancel within these 7 days, a full refund of deposit and any advance rent payments you have made.
2. Upon expiry of the 7 day cooling off period, you will have to pay all amounts due on your Tenancy Agreement unless a replacement Tenant is found. If a replacement Tenant is found, we will release you from your tenancy agreement after 7 days of the new tenant signing their contract. If the replacement is found after the start date of your tenancy agreement, we will release you from the start date of the replacement Tenant’s new Tenancy Agreement. Any liability until that moment will remain with you.

When is the due date for rent payment?

The apartment payment deadline can be found in the rental contract. The rental contract needs to be signed online when booking. After signing, the apartment will send a copy to the students. You can check it in the email at any time

How to pay rent?

Pay the rent by bank transfer. After the reservation is completed, the apartment will send Bank Details in the form of email. The Word document in the email attachment is the apartment's remittance information

I have a special discount for the apartment when I make a reservation, how can I redeem it?

Please refer to the corresponding activity details provided by the apartment when you make a reservation, and then please accept the corresponding details with the apartment.
