Can I park at the apartment?

No, the apartment does not come with a parking lot.

You must move out of the room by 11:00 AM on the Tenancy End Date stated in the contract. Any items left in the room will be considered abandoned by the apartment and a cleaning fee will be charged.

What should I do if I want to terminate the agreement and move out?

If you wish to terminate the lease, you must notify the consultant or the apartment in writing, and you need to fill out the apartment's sublease form. You will remain responsible for the rent until a new tenant is found or the lease ends, whichever comes first. We cannot guarantee that other tenants will be found, as this obviously becomes increasingly difficult as the academic year progresses. First, you need to select a specific room and submit your information through the uhones.com app. To make a reservation, you are required to pay a deposit of £101 (£100 deposit + £1 card binding fee). Then, you should confirm the contract and bind a guarantee card for future rent payments.

Can I have pets in the room?

No, no pets are allowed in the apartment.

How to pay the deposit?

If you or your parents or friends have a Visa/MasterCard, you can log in to your account to make the payment. If not, you can pay through uhones.com, and a dedicated consultant will sync the deposit to the apartment.

Can my partner and I share a room or a studio apartment since we are both students?

Some apartment types are available for double occupancy at an additional charge of 25%.

How to redeem the early bird discount for 2025/26?

Booking a room for the 2025/26 academic year allows you to enjoy the early bird discount. Please note you must meet the following criteria: 1) The rental period cannot be shorter than 39 weeks 2) The start date for the rental must begin in September 2025 3) Check-in must be successfully completed by September 30, 2025. The early bird discount will be directly deducted from your rent contract based on limited availability (already deducted in the contract). If you do not meet the apartment's terms in the future, the apartment reserves the right to remove the early bird discount and request the price difference.

You can check in on the lease start date or afterwards. The apartment will notify you of the check-in information and corresponding time closer to your move-in date.

You might want to find someone to live with or connect with other students in your apartment building, and you can seek help on the apartment's Facebook page.

Can I change the shower head in my bathroom at Downing West Village?

Yes. You can request showerhead replacement up to 4 times a year, free of charge. Simply submit a maintenance request to the support team at Downing West Village.If you want to replace the showerhead yourself, make sure to keep the original one well and restore it when you move out.
