You must move out of the room by 11:00 AM on the Tenancy End Date stated in the contract. Any items left in the room will be considered abandoned by the apartment and a cleaning fee will be charged.

No, no pets are allowed in the apartment.

How to pay the deposit?

If you or your parents or friends have a Visa/MasterCard, you can log in to your account to make the payment. If not, you can pay through uhones.com, and a dedicated consultant will sync the deposit to the apartment.

Can my partner and I share a room or a studio apartment since we are both students?

Some apartment types are available for double occupancy at an additional charge of 25%.

How to redeem the early bird discount for 2025/26?

Booking a room for the 2025/26 academic year allows you to enjoy the early bird discount. Please note you must meet the following criteria: 1) The rental period cannot be shorter than 39 weeks 2) The start date for the rental must begin in September 2025 3) Check-in must be successfully completed by September 30, 2025. The early bird discount will be directly deducted from your rent contract based on limited availability (already deducted in the contract). If you do not meet the apartment's terms in the future, the apartment reserves the right to remove the early bird discount and request the price difference.

You can check in on the lease start date or afterwards. The apartment will notify you of the check-in information and corresponding time closer to your move-in date.

The location is very good, with both Lidl and Morrison supermarkets nearby, and Sainsbury's is also close by, not far from Adam Smith Business School. The front desk is very nice, very helpful, and there are Chinese staff. However, the facilities are quite old, and there is no range hood. Additionally, the heating is constant, and in summer it cannot be turned off; the heating is only timed to be on, so during the coldest part of winter, it may still be cold. Garbage collection is sometimes not timely, and garbage water leaks. Repairs are very quick and timely, and picking up parcels is also quite convenient. Overall, it is a relatively recommended apartment.

Here are my honest thoughts: Advantages: Unbeatable location: The apartment is very close to the University of Glasgow, making it easy to walk to class every day and saving a lot of commuting time. Supermarkets, restaurants, and daily amenities are all available nearby, which is very convenient. High-quality private kitchen: As someone who enjoys cooking, the private kitchen in the room is definitely the biggest plus. Whether I’m buying good-quality beef to cook a steak or preparing daily fitness meals, the countertop space and facilities are more than sufficient. I no longer have to deal with the hassle of sharing a kitchen with others. Spacious room with efficient use of space: The Gold Studio is very spacious. The large desk is great for researching and writing papers, and there is even enough room to do some basic daily strength training and stretching. Excellent privacy: With a private bathroom and living area, there is no need to worry about conflicts in daily habits. The soundproofing is also good, so whether I’m focusing on studying or relaxing with games on the weekend, I won’t be disturbed.

Soundproofing: The windows have pretty good sound insulation, but the rooms are close together, so people can hear you if you talk loudly. Hygiene: The carpeted floor is hard to clean, and the apartment’s vacuum cleaner has an odor. Location: It’s very close to the supermarket, but classes are held in different colleges on campus, so sometimes you have to walk quite far, especially to the Faculty of Education.

The sunlight on the 6th floor is great, the air is good, and the heating is sufficient. The only downside is the sound insulation is not very good, and there is no smoke extractor, so it can be a bit smoky after cooking. Other aspects are particularly good, package delivery and mail collection are very convenient, and nearby there is Lidl and Morrison, with the subway station and train station very close. There are also many Chinese restaurants in the vicinity. It is not far from the school and is relatively bustling, even in the evening it feels quite safe.
