Not as good as I imagined. One major pitfall is that the official subletting requires the lease to have more than three months remaining to be transferred officially. This means that for a one-year master's student who chooses to return to their home country in July or August of the following year, the remaining lease period cannot be transferred at all. The front desk will also recognize faces. My room's photos are not representative; a normal classic studio is probably 0.7 times the size of this.

The overall living experience is quite good. The apartment is well maintained in terms of cleanliness, and the common areas are kept clean and tidy, creating a comfortable living environment. The hot water in the room comes out very quickly, so hot water is available whenever needed, which makes daily life very convenient. The front desk staff are very responsible and handle all matters carefully and reliably. I have never had any issues with lost packages when storing or receiving deliveries there, which gives me great peace of mind. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, often greeting residents proactively, and their service attitude is kind and approachable, making communication and getting things done a pleasant experience. Parking at the entrance of the apartment is convenient, so there is no need to worry about parking when driving. The location is also very good, with convenient access to nearby supermarkets, shopping areas, and transportation stations. Overall, both the facilities and property services are well managed, offering a strong sense of safety and comfort for daily living. It is an apartment well worth choosing.

The soundproofing in the flat suite isn’t very good. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the school. I live on the sunny side, so there is actually plenty of sunlight. It can get a bit hot in the summer, so you can go hide out in the library. The front desk says it’s open 24 hours, but there’s often no one there at night. They can help receive express deliveries and packages.

The apartment staff are extremely meddlesome. Just live there and you’ll be left speechless, experiencing life like a criminal. They’re always trying to enter the room to check this and that. I asked a friend in the same apartment building to take my key and grab an ice cream from my room, and the apartment staff directly confiscated the key. This apartment is insane, absolute trash.

It's about a 15-minute walk to both the school and the city center, but you can just walk straight and won’t get lost. If you're feeling down, you can visit the nearby park, which has stunning scenery and has the typical feel of a European forest park.

I absolutely love the large windows at Clifton, and I specifically chose a south-facing one with an amazing view. The room is reasonably clean, but I'll definitely need to give it another go as the fridge wasn't cleaned properly and smells bad. After reporting it to the front desk, they came upstairs right away to check. Also, when the neighbor borrowed a screwdriver to assemble a clothes rack, they brought over a toolbox and helped assemble it directly. The service is truly unbeatable. Within a five-minute walk, there is a small supermarket and a restaurant, and within ten minutes, there's a larger supermarket. Right downstairs is the Royal Bank of Scotland, and it takes fifteen minutes to walk to the University of Glasgow. Essentially, walking can meet most of my transportation needs.

Clifton is really a gem of an apartment, it is definitely worth choosing! The rooms with large windows are really comfortable to live in, and the cost-performance ratio is very high. Among similar price points, other apartments do not have such good room layouts and environments. Other apartments that achieve effects like Clifton have prices that are nearly 100p/w more expensive. Moreover, I personally think Clifton's location is really great; it is near the park and not far from anywhere. Whether it's for school or walking to the city center, it's all within 20 minutes. The staff is also particularly friendly, and the apartment occasionally holds activities and sends out snacks.

No Visa: If you don’t get your visa to come and study in the UK, you must send the property the visa application rejection letter within 48 hours of receiving it. Providing you provide the necessary information in the required time you will be able to cancel your booking, and the property will return any advanced rent paid. This is applicable for bookings starting within 30 days of your visa application decision.

No University Place: If you fail to gain the required qualifications and are not accepted into the University, you need to send the property the university rejection letter, or proof that the exam results don’t meet the requirements of the university. You must send the property the proof documents within 48 hours of receiving them. Providing you provide the necessary information in the required time you will be able to cancel your booking, and the property will return any advanced rent paid.

Cancellation Policy: Students Countersigned Bookings: If your booking is complete and has been countersigned, it is legally binding. There are however some situations where you may be able to cancel. Replacement Tenant: The property may, at its discretion, assist you in finding a replacement tenant, but cannot guarantee that a replacement will be found. It is your responsibility to find a replacement tenant. If a replacement is found, any refund due (after deduction of the non-refundable amount) will be processed once a suitable replacement has signed their agreement, paid rent and moved into the accommodation. If the contract has fewer than 12 weeks remaining, the property may not be able to accept the replacement tenant. No Visa: If you don’t get your visa to come and study in the UK, you must send the property the visa application rejection letter within 48 hours of receiving it. Providing you provide the necessary information in the required time you will be able to cancel your booking, and the property will return any advanced rent paid. This is applicable for bookings starting within 30 days of your visa application decision. Withdrawal from University: A student may be allowed to leave early without financial penalty under certain conditions relating to medical release from their university in line with the ANUK code. If you think you may be eligible for this type of release, please contact your property manager. If you do qualify, you will need to provide proof of your university medical release. Notes: Advance Rent Paid: If you choose a room and pay the Advance Rent but do not complete your booking, and later decide to cancel, an amount will not be refunded. This non-refundable amount will be whichever is lower: the Advance Rent you paid or the cost of one week’s rent. In some cases, this means you may lose all of the Advance Rent, and in other cases you may lose one week’s rent instead. Renters’ Rights Act & Tenancy Status (England Only) As all our English properties are Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and registered with an officially accredited body, they fall under the specific exemptions outlined in the Renters’ Rights Act. This exemption allows us to continue issuing fixed-term tenancies that correspond with the academic cycle. Consequently, the statutory right for tenants to serve notice to terminate a tenancy early under the Act does not apply. All residents remain bound by the terms of their fixed-term agreement for its full duration
