What’s Advance Rent Contribution Payment

Accepted Answer

An advance rent contribution of £150 towards your first rent instalment will be due at the time of completing your application.  This amount is credited to your first rent instalment. Should you fail to proceed with the booking after accepting your Tenancy Agreement, the advance rent contribution will be retained by the Landlord to compensate for costs incurred as a result of the breach of contract.
Payment of the advance rent contribution is a pre-condition for the completion of the Tenancy Agreement. 
The advance rent contribution payment will appear on the payment portal as a ‘Pre Payment Charge’.

Please note that the type of payment card must be one of the following four types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron, please ensure that there is sufficient credit, fill in the account information accurately, and the bank opens and supports this payment behavior. Payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. Bank remittance: Please contact the apartment to obtain the receiving account information under the guidance of the consultant, and then complete the corresponding payment in the bank. Please note your name and ID to facilitate the identification of the apartment, and the wire transfer will take several working days to arrive, so you need to arrange payment in advance. 3. The deposit will be open for payment 10 days before the start of the contract. Since the standards of each apartment building are different, the amount of the deposit and whether it needs to be paid will vary. Please log in to your payment interface to check whether you need to pay the deposit and the corresponding amount. When moving out of the apartment later, the apartment will determine the refund amount of the deposit based on the property status of the room.
