Q: What if I have to cancel for reasons related to coronavirus? We would like to draw your attention to the Coronavirus Scotland Bill (2) which became law on 26th May 2020. The Bill is in response to the emergency situation caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The Bill “complements and supplements”— the Coronavirus Act 2020 (“the UK Act”) the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 The Bill gives students seeking accommodation for the new academic year reassurance that there is a 28-day notice to leave period for new agreements entered into, and a 7-day notice to leave period for those currently in a contract. Q: What is the cancellation policy? A: Once you have signed your tenancy agreement and made partial payment of £200 towards your first rent installment, there is a 72 hour “cooling-off” period which allows you to cancel your booking and receive a full refund. Any other refund can only be permitted under special circumstances at the discretion of the General Manager. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
