Can I have guests stay?

Due to the pandemic, we do not allow visitors. Under normal circumstances we will allow guests to stay overnight for a maximum of two consecutive nights, but they will need to speak to the management team at reception and will not be able to pick up a key.

All of our apartments are furnished with high quality furniture, providing ample storage space and comfort. You can contact our reservations consultants for a full checklist prior to your stay. You will need to bring your own bedding and kitchen utensils as these are not provided.

If you renew your subscription with us for a new academic year, we can store your luggage for free during the summer.

Is there a social space?

UNINN halls of residence have excellent social spaces for students to socialize and there are often events on site to allow tenants to meet more people. But now due to the pandemic, we have suspended in-person social events this year. You are still welcome to use our social spaces such as karaoke rooms, cinema rooms, communal study areas etc, but just make sure you follow all government guidelines.

Does UNINN student dormitory provide cleaning service?

Your own room needs to be cleaned and kept clean. We are responsible for the hygiene of communal areas such as social spaces, reception, laundry etc.

What if my room facilities are damaged?

There are several ways to report maintenance issues. UNINN APP: Add a picture and the apartment will reply as soon as possible. Email: You can send an email to the website&#x27;s email address, which will be in the welcome letter. Telephone: You can call the site number on the welcome letter. In person: You can go to the reception or the field office and speak to a member of staff.

Can I check in earlier than the check-in date shown on the website?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can be very flexible with regards to check-in dates. Some rooms may be available for early check-in, subject to availability, but you will need to reconfirm with our reservations consultants for confirmation. If early check-in is not possible for a particular room you reserved, we may also be able to temporarily assign you another room. Please note that once you have signed the tenancy agreement, you may be required to pay an administration fee to move in if you decide to change.

Do you have laundry facilities?

All of our properties have laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. Each wash and dry costs around £4.

Who can book a room in the UNINN student halls of residence?

Accepted Answer

Any student over the age of 18 who is studying at an educational institution can live in UNINN. When booking a room, you may be asked to provide proof of your student status (e.g. letter of acceptance from university, CAS, confirmation of enrollment, student card, valid student visa, etc.)

You can use master or visa credit card to pay, offline bank transfer, etc.

Can. As long as there are vacancies, your request will be satisfied to the greatest extent. Please contact our reservations consultants before making a reservation.

If you would like to stay with a friend, please let our reservations consultant know before booking.

What else do I need to pay besides rent?

Accepted Answer

The reservation fee is 100 pounds, which is deducted from the rent. There is also a deposit of £350 which will be paid together with the rent, there is TDS. The apartment includes bills (water, electricity, etc.), but the washing machine needs to be paid separately.

When do I need to pay the reservation fee, security deposit and rent?

Reservation fee: The reservation fee is paid directly at the time of application. Rent: Normally for September intakes, the total rent or first installment is due on August 15th. Note: Installment payments are only allowed for students who can provide guarantor information.

Can two people stay in the same room?

Accepted Answer

Most of our accommodation can accommodate two people at a time, as long as both residents are 18+ university students, but rooms are limited and usually on a first-come, first-served basis for specific room types. Double occupancy normally costs an additional GBP 15 per week.

How long is the lease?

Lease agreements are 43/44, 47 and 51 weeks, with certain accommodation and room types available for short term rentals longer than six weeks.

What if I can&#x27;t pay on time?

Accepted Answer

Given the signed rental agreement, if you fail to pay on time without notifying us, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or resort to a third party debt collection agency. Rent arrears may also incur interest charges.

Is my booking fee fully refundable? / Will I be charged if I cancel before the agreement starts?

Accepted Answer

Once the reservation fee has been paid, it is non-refundable unless a qualified replacement tenant is found. If you have already signed a tenancy agreement, you will still pay the full rent unless a qualified replacement tenant is found. There is also an administration fee of GBP 50.

Can I move out during the agreement?

Accepted Answer

Can. However, you are still responsible for paying the rent until another student is found as a replacement tenant. You and your replacement tenant must notify the apartment, and management will be completed accordingly, for a management fee.

Can I sublet my room?

Accepted Answer

No, it is against your tenancy agreement to sublet your room without our written permission. If you have found a suitable replacement tenant, please contact your Captive Adviser to ensure all contract work is in place, a £50 management fee may apply.
