Lennon Studios is a luxury student accommodation in Liverpool. Located in the heart of the University of Liverpool's academic area, the residence halls are within an 8-minute walk of the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. Buildings are conveniently situated close to Liverpool's two universities, cathedrals, and major train stations. 15 minutes from Liverpool city centre, with a wide range of nationally-inspired restaurants, boutique shops, supermarkets, and cafes nearby, and with affordable prices, Lennon Studios is an ideal choice of accommodation for Liverpool students. 

 

Facilities

Lennon Studios is located in the Student Village and offers 246 beds over 6 floors. There are three types of rooms on offer - En-suite, Studio and Non En-suite - to meet the diverse needs of students. Shared kitchens are equipped with a dining area, refrigerator, microwave, oven, stovetop, range hood and Hoover to meet all student life needs, and extra ample storage space under the bed.

 

Flat rent includes everything from water, electricity, gas and internet, eliminating multiple charges and providing peace of mind. Famous musician John Lennon was born on this site, and the building is listed as a Grade II listed building in the UK. Each room is unique. The flats offer a wide range of recreational facilities to keep you entertained after school.

 

Location and What's Hot?

Living at Lennon Studios is a very convenient place to live, with a convenience store not far from the building, a 10-minute walk to a Tesco Express supermarket, and a 15-minute walk to a large Tesco supermarket, making it easy to get your daily shopping done. There is also the TSB Bank, several bars and restaurants. Liverpool City Centre is a 15-minute walk away and has a large shopping mall, Liverpool One, as well as Chinatown, where you can find all sorts of good Chinese restaurants and great bowls of rice. Lennon Studios is also very popular with several university students in Liverpool, as there are restaurants, boutiques, supermarkets, cafes and bars nearby.

 

Transport 

Lennon Studios residence halls are in the heart of the University of Liverpool's academic area. It is a 5-minute walk to the University of Liverpool and a 5-minute walk to Liverpool John Moores University. Liverpool city centre is a 15-minute walk away and has a great nightlife. Transport is easy to get to; there is a bus stop close to the flat, and Liverpool train station is about a 10-minute walk from the dormitory, making it easy to get to all UK cities.

 

Security and Services

Wi-Fi is available throughout the flats so you can access the internet anytime, anywhere. The flats also have the exclusive MyUnite APP, which provides services such as reporting repairs and a 24/7 on-site service team, and the front desk can collect parcels on behalf of the students, which is a very warm and caring service.

Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

No Visa No Pay (NVNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking has their visa application rejected, the student can provide evidence of the refusal and the booking will get cancelled with no liability.
b.For the evidence at 7(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.Students can only cancel under 7(a) above, and under the NVNP policy, if they have applied for a visa and can evidence this. Students who haven't got a visa because they haven't applied for one are not eligible for the NVNP cancellation policy.

No Place No Pay

No Place No Pay (NPNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking for a room is not accepted at a university in the city where they have booked a room with us, the student is able to cancel their room outside of the cooling-off period without the need for a replacement tenant provided they are able to provide evidence that they have not met the requirements for their offer or have been rejected by the university for some other reason.
b.For the evidence at 6(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.We reserve the right to check with the university if the evidence is genuine or fake. Providing fake / photoshopped documents is forgery and is an offense punishable by law in the UK.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

3 days to accept the offer+ 7 days cooling-off period
Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.
If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.
If the student still wants a room, we can re-process a booking, but we cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available.
Once the booking is completed, the student has another 7 days to change their mind and cancel their booking without any reasons. This is called the cooling-off period.

Details

Making a Booking

International cancellation provisions
These additional cancellation provisions apply for any individual making a booking outside of the United Kingdom.
1.Cooling Off Period – the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply;
2.After the Cooling Off Period - Once the Cooling Off Period has expired the Tenant remains liable for the rent for the whole length of the tenancy unless they want to cancel with one of these 3 conditions:
-No Place No Pay: the provisions for No Place No Pay set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply, save that this option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No Visa No Pay:if the student doesn’t get their visa to come and study in the UK, the student must send us the visa application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No ATAS certificate, No Pay: Some international students coming to the UK to study in very specific fields need to apply for an ATAS certificate. (Academic Technology Approval Scheme). If a student’s ATAS certificate application is rejected the student must send us the ATAS certificate application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
The cancellation requests along with the proof documents must be sent by the student, from the email address they have registered their account with Unite Students and must be sent to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
If an agent is involved the evidence must be sent to the agent and then forwarded on to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
3. Replacement Tenants - the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply. Please note the point that Unite Students is under no obligation to enter into a Tenancy Agreement with any replacement Tenant that is suggested under this provision.
Passed the 31st August, the No Place No Pay and No Visa No Pay do not apply.
The student remains liable for the rent unless they find a replacement Tenant.
