Can I share a studio room with someone else in the St Lukes View Liverpool?

Some of our properties in St Lukes View Liverpool have a policy allowing two people to stay. Other than that, these flats do not permit multiple people to stay. Of course, the apartment does not allow minors under the age of 16 to live with their parents or guardians either.

When is the due date for rent payment?

Please log in to the Account of Unite Students, enter the Booking page, and click on the Tenancy agreement file. In the YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN part of the document, you can find the deadline for paying rent and the corresponding rent amount. [DATE] is the rent payment deadline (the format is day/month/year) [AMOUNT] is the amount of rent that needs to be paid

What is Internal “Health checks” for hot cities’ bookings？

Students will be asked to provide their university offer or a screenshot of the university portal showing their name and enough information to confirm the student has completed the application process.↵↵For a small sample of students, Supplier might check with their university partners if they can confirm the offers and information are genuine.↵↵If the student doesn’t reply to any of the 3 attempts, Supplier will have a red flat to this booking.↵↵If Supplier still cannot get any contact from the student, Supplier will cancel the booking.

When I make a reservation, is the advance rent paid a deposit? How to refund?

Advance Rent is prepaid rent, used as a deposit. After you successfully check in, Advance rent will be deducted from your rent and will not be refunded.

There are two ways to pay the apartment rent, online payment or bank wire transfer 1. For online payment, please log in to the Account of Unite Students, click the Payments page, enter the rent amount to be paid in the dialog box, click the Pay button, and enter the payment card information. If it is a British savings card, select the Debit card type (the corresponding Billing address needs to be changed to a British address), if it is a Chinese credit card, select the Credit card type (the billing address remains the domestic address) 2. For bank wire transfer, please log in to the Account of Unite Students and click Booking page, download the Bank Transfer Info file, communicate with the bank in advance, and bring the corresponding materials to the bank counter or self-service money transfer machine for remittance. In the remittance postscript, please fill in the personal reservation information (refer to the content required in the bank_tranfer_info file). The wire transfer does not arrive in real time , please be sure to wire transfer 1-2 weeks before the deadline to ensure that the funds arrive on time. Since the bank will charge a cross-border payment service fee, please pay the required rent + service fee when paying the fee to ensure that the full amount arrives.

Please refer to the corresponding activity details provided by the apartment when you make a reservation, and then please accept the corresponding details with the apartment.

Should I pay as much as the apartment needs to pay?

Please decide how much to pay based on your payment method, but please make sure that the amount of your rent is consistent with the amount required by the apartment. For example, if you use an international bank remittance, the intermediary bank will charge part of the handling fee, so in this case, please ensure that the amount paid is the payable rent + handling fee, and ensure that the full amount arrives to avoid arrears.

How do I collect my access card?

After completing the check-in process at the front desk, you can get the key card from the apartment front desk

Can I check in early?

If you need to check in early, please contact your consultant teacher. If there are vacancies in the apartment for the corresponding lease period, you can arrange early check-in after accepting the corresponding extra rent

Can someone else get the key card for me?

No, for security reasons, your key card can only be collected by yourself.

Do I need to pay land tax?

If you are an eligible full-time student, you will be exempt from paying land tax. You must provide proof to the apartment that you are a full-time student

What if there is no one at the front desk when I arrive?

The benefits are that the price is cheap, the cost performance is high, the internet speed is very fast, and it is located in the city center, making public transportation very convenient for school and travel. Additionally, the apartment's maintenance service is very considerate, with high efficiency, and people come up to fix things quickly. The downside is that the rooms are relatively small. I've been to a friend's studio type, which is also very small. The kitchen and bed in the studio are not separated, so it's better to choose an ensuite. The units with good natural light by the window are generally noisy because they are street-facing properties; all student apartments in the UK are like this, and sound insulation is out of the question. In summary, all the hardware conditions for living here are met: convenient, comfortable, safe, and fast. However, each person's focus and priorities are different.
