St Lukes View is a popular student accommodation in Liverpool that is beautifully furnished and fully equipped. There is also a communal lounge area, study area, pool table, table tennis table and a small patio for students to try out free of charge. St Lukes View is in a great location in Liverpool, with Liverpool Station just a 5-minute walk away and the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University just a 10-minute walk away. With a Chinese supermarket and Sainsbury's opposite the flat and a variety of restaurants and shops nearby, St Lukes View is well served by bus routes and is a quiet and easy-to-get-around location from which you can reach all parts of Liverpool.

 

Features

St Lukes View student flats are available in both En-suite and Studio rooms, which are very popular with students and offer a personal space with a double bed, desk, modern kitchen, ample wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelves and under-bed storage. The En-suite rooms come with 3/4 beds, tables, chairs and mirrors. The communal kitchen has two large fridges, two cooktops, and two sinks, which is very convenient, and there is ample storage space in both the room and the kitchen.

 

The common areas and living room at St Lukes View are cleaned by housekeeping staff at no charge. A washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, which students need coins to use. St Lukes View has high-speed Wifi coverage, and the rent includes water, electricity, gas and internet, making your stay hassle-free.

 

Location and What's Hot?

St Lukes View student flats are conveniently located near a wide range of supermarkets. Sainsbury's and Tesco are a 2-minute walk away, as well as KFC, Costa Coffee, Caffe Nero and other fast food outlets and cafes. There is a wide range of shops around, so you can basically buy what you need for your daily life here. The hostel is also next door to one of the UK's largest gym chains, PureGym, which is located in the city centre and is very convenient for shopping. The famous Albert Dock harbour is only an 18-minute away, and China Town is only a 6-minute away.

 

Transport

St Lukes View is close to the city centre, a 10-minute walk to the University of Liverpool School of Architecture, a 20-minute walk to Liverpool John Moores University City Campus, a 30-minute bus journey to Liverpool Hope University. Minutes to Upper Newington and Brownlow Hill bus stops. Liverpool Central Station, is a 4-minute walk from the flat, and Liverpool Lime Street Station is a 5-minute walk away, making it very easy to get around.

 

Security and Service

St Lukes View student flats have a 24-hour electronic door entry system, front desk and video surveillance system, which requires visitors to pass through multiple electronic gates before entering the residence halls. St Lukes View has its maintenance team, so if you have any problems with any of the facilities after you move in, you can report them directly to the reception desk, and the halls of residence will be able to repair them as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

No Visa No Pay (NVNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking has their visa application rejected, the student can provide evidence of the refusal and the booking will get cancelled with no liability.
b.For the evidence at 7(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.Students can only cancel under 7(a) above, and under the NVNP policy, if they have applied for a visa and can evidence this. Students who haven't got a visa because they haven't applied for one are not eligible for the NVNP cancellation policy.

No Place No Pay

No Place No Pay (NPNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking for a room is not accepted at a university in the city where they have booked a room with us, the student is able to cancel their room outside of the cooling-off period without the need for a replacement tenant provided they are able to provide evidence that they have not met the requirements for their offer or have been rejected by the university for some other reason.
b.For the evidence at 6(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.We reserve the right to check with the university if the evidence is genuine or fake. Providing fake / photoshopped documents is forgery and is an offense punishable by law in the UK.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

3 days to accept the offer+ 7 days cooling-off period
Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.
If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.
If the student still wants a room, we can re-process a booking, but we cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available.
Once the booking is completed, the student has another 7 days to change their mind and cancel their booking without any reasons. This is called the cooling-off period.

Details

Making a Booking

International cancellation provisions
These additional cancellation provisions apply for any individual making a booking outside of the United Kingdom.
1.Cooling Off Period – the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply;
2.After the Cooling Off Period - Once the Cooling Off Period has expired the Tenant remains liable for the rent for the whole length of the tenancy unless they want to cancel with one of these 3 conditions:
-No Place No Pay: the provisions for No Place No Pay set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply, save that this option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No Visa No Pay:if the student doesn’t get their visa to come and study in the UK, the student must send us the visa application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
-No ATAS certificate, No Pay: Some international students coming to the UK to study in very specific fields need to apply for an ATAS certificate. (Academic Technology Approval Scheme). If a student’s ATAS certificate application is rejected the student must send us the ATAS certificate application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
The cancellation requests along with the proof documents must be sent by the student, from the email address they have registered their account with Unite Students and must be sent to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
If an agent is involved the evidence must be sent to the agent and then forwarded on to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com.
3. Replacement Tenants - the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply. Please note the point that Unite Students is under no obligation to enter into a Tenancy Agreement with any replacement Tenant that is suggested under this provision.
Passed the 31st August, the No Place No Pay and No Visa No Pay do not apply.
The student remains liable for the rent unless they find a replacement Tenant.
