Log in to the student portal of the apartment and check your payment schedule on the booking page. Additionally, the apartment provides a contract that will be marked; after the booking is successful, the apartment will send a copy of the contract to the student's email, so be sure to save it!

A guarantor refers to a person who is over 18 years old, can share the financial responsibility for the rental, and is able to pay the rent on your behalf if you are unable to do so for any reason. If you choose to pay the rent in two or four installments at the time of booking, a guarantor is required. They must agree to be your guarantor and sign the rental documents. The apartment management has the right to collect any unpaid rent from the guarantor. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that your guarantor understands the obligations they are assuming.

Can I smoke inside the room?

For safety reasons, smoking is not allowed in the apartment, and there are smoke detectors. If you need to smoke, please ask the apartment front desk where the designated smoking area is located.

You can contact the staff in the apartment and fill out a repair request form.

Can someone help me pick up the access card?

No, for safety reasons, your access card can only be picked up by yourself.

What fees do I need to pay?

All utilities, including water and electricity, 250 Mbps broadband and Wi-Fi, and all personal property insurance are included in the rent. Breakfast from Monday to Friday is also included in the weekly rent.

Do I need to pay property tax?

If you are a qualified full-time student, you will be exempt from paying property taxes. You must provide the apartment with proof that you are a full-time student.

Can I smoke in the room?

No. According to the signed rental agreement, smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment. Each apartment has a designated smoking area; please smoke there.

How can I get my access card?

After completing the check-in process at the front desk, you can collect the key card from the apartment's front desk.

You can check in at the beginning of the contract. If you arrive at the apartment outside of working hours, it's best to inform the apartment in advance so that they can arrange the check-in for you.

The apartment supports account login for payments via the TransferMate platform or through bank wire transfers. 1. Payment via TransferMate Platform Please log into your personal apartment account, then select "Pay Now" on the Booking page to go to the TransferMate payment interface. Fill in the relevant information and complete the payment. Please note that this payment method involves you paying the TransferMate platform, and after TransferMate receives the payment from the student, it will then pay VITA STUDENT. Therefore, the expected processing time for the payment to reflect is about 3-5 business days. If there are public holidays in China or the UK, this timeline may be extended. 2. Payment via Bank Wire Transfer Vita currently accepts bank wire transfers either from China or from a UK bank account. UK wire transfers typically take about 1 week to reflect, while Chinese wire transfers generally take about 1-2 weeks. Please note that VITA does not have a bank account in China, only a company account in the UK. Kindly use VITA's official account for the wire transfer and strictly adhere to VITA's information for payment. Do not trust any information provided by third parties.

Can I keep pets in the apartment?

No, pets are not allowed in the apartment.

How much is the deposit?

You only need to pay the deposit and rent.

What should I do if something in my room is broken or has a problem?

You can use the mobile app provided by the apartment to comfortably request repairs from your room! Just fill out the repair form and you can also attach a picture. The maintenance manager in the apartment will respond as soon as possible. You can also go downstairs and talk to the customer service team at the front desk about the issue. They will be happy to help.

What kind of people can be guarantors?

Anyone over the age of 18, residing in the UK and not living in Vita accommodation, can act as a guarantor for students choosing to pay rent in four installments. The room is very nice! The internet speed is very fast, and there are public spaces. The gym equipment is abundant, the cleaning service is excellent, and breakfast is provided, which is very enjoyable. The front desk staff are nice, and there is a separate package room for deliveries. It's at most a 20-minute walk to the school, and within a 5-minute walk, there is a China Supermarket and Tesco, which is great.

The sound insulation is excellent, there is breakfast on weekdays, the room has air conditioning which is very comfortable in summer, the public area facilities are well-equipped, the internet speed is high but there are times when it disconnects, and there is a cleaning service every two weeks.
