East Shore is a luxury student accommodation in St Andrews. Surrounded by the serene and inspiring beauty of St Andrews, this accommodation is close to the esteemed University of St Andrews and forms part of a vibrant community known for its rich history and cultural heritage. Adjacent to the accommodation, landmarks such as the St Andrews Cathedral ruins and the medieval St Andrews Castle overlook the North Sea, offering students a scenic backdrop for their academic pursuits.

 

Features

East Shore Apartments offer a wide choice of room types, including four En-suite rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, 3/4 double beds (measuring approximately 120cm x 190cm) and shared kitchen facilities with 5-10 others. In addition, some of the rooms have a sea view for added visual comfort. Although the price of the sea view room type may be slightly higher, its unique view and comfortable living experience make it the first choice for many students.

In addition to basic accommodation facilities, the Apartments have a dedicated laundry room, car park, study rooms and communal activity spaces to meet students' daily life and study needs. Students can relax and socialise in various activities or focus on their studies in the study rooms. Opposite the flats is the East Sands Leisure Centre, where students can enjoy swimming, fitness classes or work out in the fully-equipped gym, further enriching their after-school lives.

East Shore accommodation is situated on the edge of East Sand beach and is surrounded by stunning views. Opposite is the East Sand Leisure Centre where you can enjoy swimming, fitness classes or work out in the fully equipped gym. The University of St Andrews also offers many activities, including cycling, horse riding, sailing, surfing, skydiving and golf.

If you enjoy walking, you can go on the seaside paths and the stunning scenery. Other attractions include the St Andrews Aquarium, Kellie Castle, Scotland's secret underground fortress, and a 24,000-square-foot relic from the Cold War era. You can also experience a taste of authentic Scotland with the Eden Mill Distillery and Brewery or catch a show at the Brye Theatre.

East Shore—St Andrews is ideally located. A mere 5-minute walk will take you to the closest bus station, ensuring a seamless and stress-free connection to the broader city. For those attending the University of St Andrews, it's an easy 10-minute walk away—close enough for convenience but just far enough to enjoy a refreshing morning stroll before lectures.

Should you wish to explore beyond the town or perhaps venture home for a weekend, the Leuchars train station is a comfortable 15-minute drive away, offering routes across the UK. Culinary delights await at various restaurants within a 10-minute walking radius, where flavours from around the world are served to cater to your diverse palate. For international students or those planning trips abroad, Edinburgh Airport can be reached in approximately an hour and a half by car, linking you to destinations worldwide.

When is the due date for rent payment?

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review My Offer to enter the contract review interface, click CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE TENANCY AGREEMENT in the lower right corner again or enter the registered email to check the rent payment deadline on the contract. If you need to pay the rent, you can return to the homepage and click Review/Pay Statement to view the details of the payment plan. The corresponding key information is [Balance] The current total amount to be paid for this payment item [Due Date] Payment deadline (format day/month/year) Please pay the rent before the due date

How to pay rent?

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review/Pay Statement to enter the payment interface, then tick the items that need to be paid, and click pay to enter the payment interface. The apartment supports online credit card payment (credit card is supported) or bank transfer 1. For online credit card payment, please ensure that the payment card type is one of the following four types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Carefully fill in the cardholder information, and please ensure that the payment card has sufficient credit, and the bank is opened and supports payment behavior. Please note that payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. For bank remittance, please contact the apartment to obtain the transfer account under the guidance of the consultant, and then complete the corresponding payment in the bank. However, please note that wire transfers can take several business days to arrive, so payment needs to be arranged in advance.

Is an installment purchase possible?

If you have a valid UK guarantor, you can choose to pay the rent in three installments, in September, January and April. If there is no valid UK guarantor, full rent must be paid 1 month before the start of the contract.
