When Does the Clearing Open 2024?

July 5, 2024 Clearing Opens

Clearing opens and available courses are releases in UCAS clearing system or each university’s official clearing website. From this day you can keep an eye on your target universities and courses. Make a list of the available courses you’re interested in so as to make quick decisions in the future.

August 15th, 2024

A-level results will be released on 8:00am(UK time). UCAS Hub will show “you’are in clearing” or “clearing has started”. You can make applications to your targeted courses by e-mail and phone call. 

October 21st, 2024

This is the last day you can add a clearing option to UCAS Hub. Make sure you have made your decision and confirm your courses if you secure a spot before this day.

Who can Apply to the Clearing?

Clearing is available to a broad range of students. If you have made a UCAS undergraduate application and doesn’t hold any offers, you can still pursue your university dream through clearing. The following students are eligible for clearing 2024:

    • Students Without Offers: You didn’t receive any offers or you didn’t meet the conditions of your offers.
    • Late Applicants: If you applied after the June 30 deadline, then you can automatically enter the clearing process.

    •  Results Surprises: Your grades are different than expected, then you are eligible for courses different from your firm places. You’ve declined your firm place in your application.

    • Multiple Choice: You’ve paid the multiple choice application fee of £27.50

What You Should Do for 2024 Uni Clearing

Prepare Early
