MANCHESTER CITY KITS 23/24
A MATCH IN HISTORY
On 13 May 2012, Manchester City faced Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad Stadium in the two teams’ final match of the 2011-12 Premier League season. Manchester City were in first place on goal difference, level on points with Manchester United, and needed to equal United’s result to win the league title. QPR, on the other hand, went into the game one place above the relegation zone, knowing that a draw against Bolton Wanderers would ensure safety. City won the game in dramatic fashion, scoring twice in extra time to turn the tables on their opponents 2-1, most famously Sergio Aguero’s goal 90 seconds before the final whistle, to win the Premier League title for the first time since the 1967-68 season.
