Before formally introducing the dormitories at the University of Toronto, we would like to remind those of you who plan to live in the dormitories at the University of Toronto in September this year to apply in advance.
The application deadline for the First Year Residence Guarantee Application (the application deadline for freshman on-campus dormitories) is generally March 31. If you have not received an offer from the University of Toronto before the deadline, you still need to submit the residence application form before March 31 and accept the offer after you get admission from the University of Toronto to ensure that you will be assigned a dormitory when you enroll in the fall of this year.

1. Introduction
CampusOne is located in downtown Toronto and is a student residence of the University of Toronto. It is located across the street from the main campus and close to Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and OCAD. CampusOne has an excellent student living experience, allowing students to enjoy spacious urban life and state-of-the-art facilities in a safe environment.

- Studio: The single room. There are two types: Studio Standard and Studio. The standard room has more complete facilities and is relatively more expensive.
The facilities of a single room include: Private bedroom and bathroom, fully furnished (Study desk and chair, Full-sized bed, Under-bed storage, Nightstand, Armoire, Love seat, Coffee table), Roller blinds, Operational floor to ceiling windows, Operational floor to ceiling windows, and In-suite heating and air-conditioning controls. - 2 Bedroom: two types – 1 Bath Premium and 1 Bath Standard, fully furnished and full kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, Oven/range and Microwave/hood combo.
- 3 Bedroom: 3 types – 2 Bath Premium, 2 Bath Standard and 2 Bath Deluxe. The facilities are the same as those of the 2-Bedroom, but it is equipped with 2 bathrooms. The deluxe room has an additional dining table and chairs, which can be requested by friends as needed.
- 4 Bedroom: 3 types – 2 Bath Premium, 2 Bath Standard and 2 Bath.
- 5 Bedroom: 2 types – 2 Bath and 3 Bath.
Oak House
1. Introduction
Oak House is a new 508-bedroom residence and is planned for spring 2025. The residence is open to all undergraduates, including students in the College of Arts and Sciences, and some graduate students will also live in the building.

Knox Recidence
1. Introduction
Located in the heart of the St. George’s campus, Knox is a 100-bed, suite-style residence that is open to students from all faculties at the University of Toronto, but mostly freshmen.

Woodsworth College
1. Introduction
Compared to other colleges, Woodsworth looks very cutting edge as it is very close to Rotman, which became a meeting place for those who are fashionable and rich. The residence is open for applications only for Arts & Science and Rotman Commerce students.
2. Location
Located at the bustling crossroads of Bloor and St. George Streets, Woodsworth College Residence stands as the northern entrance to the University of Toronto’s downtown St. George campus.
Positioned between Toronto’s renowned Annex and Yorkville neighborhoods, Woodsworth residence offers easy access to top-notch fitness centers, libraries, museums, excellent dining spots, and a range of nearby conveniences like grocery stores and pharmacies. With the St. George subway station just across the street, navigating the city is a hassle-free experience.

Tips: OSAP/Government Deferred Students: first payment due September 30, 2024 and the second payment is due January 30, 2025. Students may delay payment, but will incur a service charge during this period.

4. Room Types and Facilities
Woodsworth College Residence is in Suite/Apartment mode. Each suite includes four to six private bedrooms, a kitchen (including a refrigerator, microwave and electric stove), a living room and two private washrooms.
5. Overall assessment
The soundproofing is good, and the whole dormitory area is quiet, clean and comfortable. Most of the people living in the dormitory are freshmen and sophomores. Woodsworth College holds many activities every year, such as free yoga classes, and interested students can participate to enrich their extracurricular life.
Trinity College
1. Introduction
Trinity is said to be one of the best Colleges, gathering many Arts & Science students, with a particularly small number of engineering students, offering only 5 places per year.
Trinity is located near Bloor St. and is divided into two traditional-style buildings: Trinity College Residence and St. Hilda’s College Residence, house approximately 470 students.
St. Hilda’s is a beautiful building with three floors above ground plus a basement, and each floor of St. Hilda’s has a kitchen or kitchenette. Trinity has internet cable in every room. There is a fitness facility in the Trinity building, and both buildings offer laundry facilities (pay per-use) and WiFi. The John W. Graham Library (part of the University of Toronto library system) is just a short walk from both residences and provides technological resources and comfortable study spaces.

Residence rooms are divided into single, double and triple rooms, and are co-ed. Single rooms are approximately 10 square meters in size. The room includes a single bed, a table, a chair, lamps, garbage cans, recycling bins, closets, closets and mirrors, as well as a high-speed wired Internet connection and smoke detectors.

Victoria College
1. Introduction
Victoria College is located in the northeast corner of the St. George campus of the University of Toronto (next to the Museum subway station). It is known as the most classical, cultural, richest, best-food, and most entertaining college in the University of Toronto.
The five residence halls include Annesley Hall, Rowell Jackman, Margaret Addison, Lower Burwash, and Upper Burwash. Due to the distance from the engineering area and the small number of beds reserved for engineering students, most of the students housed in the buildings are from Arts & Science. There is a Meal Plan tied to the residence fees.

- Annesley Hall: There are single, double and triple rooms, all of which are different. It’s a residence built only for women.
Fees: Single / Double / Triple / Super Single Room, $9,480 – $13,183 - Margaret Addison Hall: co-educational, with single and double rooms, a music practice room, a study area, a kitchenette and six communal lounges.
Fees: Single / Double / Triple / Super Single Room, $9,480 – $13,257 - Rowell Jackman Hall: offers single-sex and co-ed housing options. Each suite can accommodate three to seven students. Suites have a common lounge, one or two bathrooms, shared kitchen facilities and a living room. This dormitory is primarily for upperclassmen, with the possibility of a few first-year students being assigned a double room.
Fees: All rooms are within a shared 3–12-bedroom apartment, $11,642 – $14,684 - Burwash Hall Upper Houses: Co-ed accommodation, divided into single and double rooms, is available for both first year and senior students, with kitchenettes and small dining areas on each floor. A common room with cable TV is available on each floor. Washrooms are co-ed.
Fees: $10,542 – $13,183 - Lower Burwash Hall: single, double and triple rooms with semi-private restrooms. The rooms on the first three floors of each house have separate sleeping niches and adjacent study/sitting rooms. Kitchenettes are located on each floor. Each house has a common lounge with cable TV.
Fees: $9,480 – $15,678
3. Meal Plans
All students living in residence are required to purchase one of the following meal plans:
Meal Plan A: $6,380 – Includes 346 meals and 375 Vic Dollars (taxable).
Meal Plan B: $7,042 – Includes 381 meals and 400 Vic Dollars (taxable).
Meal Plan C: $5,551 – For upper-year students only, includes 336 meals and 200 Vic Dollars (taxable).
