Which Universities Have the Fewest Chinese Students

Typically, universities with smaller numbers of Chinese students tend to fall into the following categories: smaller specialist colleges (such as those focusing on art, music, theology, or specific medical disciplines); regional universities dedicated to serving local communities; and institutions whose admissions strategies prioritise diversity or students from specific non-Chinese regions. These institutions may host Chinese student cohorts numbering in the double digits, or even single digits. For students seeking fewer Chinese peers and a more immersive English-language environment, these universities offer distinctive alternatives. Nevertheless, when selecting such institutions, it remains essential to thoroughly evaluate whether their subject rankings and course offerings align with individual academic requirements.
