Studio

An open plan bedroom and living room, with a private bathroom. The kitchen and communal area are separate from the room itself. A studio is not a big room, suitable for just one or two people.

One Bedroom

May also be described as “1 bedroom x 1 living room” or“1 bedroom x 1 bathroom”. This type of property has a separate bedroom and living room as well as a private bathroom. It may have one or two beds, with a max. capacity of 3 persons.

Two Bedroom

This type of property has two bedrooms of roughly equal size, a kitchen and a living room. 2b1b rooms have just one bathroom but 2b2b rooms have two. Each room may have one or two beds with a max. capacity of 5 persons.

Three Bedrooms

This type of property has two bedrooms of roughly equal size, a kitchen and a living room. 3b1b rooms have just one bathroom, 3b2b rooms have two, and 3b3b rooms have three bathrooms.

UK

Basic Room

This simple room does not have a private bathroom. A flat or cluster is typically made up of 4-8 basic rooms. The rooms in a flat share a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The basic room is usually the cheapest available.

Ensuite Room

An ensuite room has its own private bathroom. A flat or cluster is typically made up of 4-8 ensuite rooms, with each flat sharing a living room and kitchen. This is the most popular choice of room, cheaper than a studio but with its own bathroom.

Studio 

A studio is a single room with a bed, desk, wardrobe, bathroom and kitchen. Unlike the ensuite rooms each studio contains its own kitchen, so it is comparatively more expensive. Suitable for 1-2 people only.

Apartment（Flat）

An apartment or flat includes bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It will be indicated whether it is a one-bed or two-bed flat. The biggest advantage of a flat is that that the rooms are divided by walls, so cooking does not affect the other rooms. Bathrooms may be ensuite or shared.

Bachelor/ Studio

A one bedroom flat has a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. It is 50 sq.m with a compact but practical design that makes the room feel bigger than it is. This property comes with a full equipped kitchen and steel furniture. It suits students who value their privacy, like to study and are looking to make friends.

Two Bedroom Flat

A two bedroom flat has two bedrooms, a private living room as well as a kitchen and a bathroom. Bigger than a one bedroom flat, the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, and cupboards. All open plan it has a spacious and bright feel. Two private bedrooms means the occupants can maintain their own personal space.

Three Bedroom Flat

A three bedroom flat has private living room, kitchen and bathroom. As a bigger space it is suitable for co-renting or for a family to rent. It is possible to rent this property with friends with a joint application. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove and cupboards.
