33 Parkside is a luxurious student accommodation in Coventry that is open for booking in 2018 and offers a variety of room types for students. The flat room has individual rooftop for students to relax on. The flat is well-secured, and students can relax in the spacious social area with friends. There is also a private cinema, fitness suite, games room and a beautifully landscaped courtyard.

33 Parkside is perfect for Coventry University students, with the University just across the road from the flats. There are also many Warwick students living here as it is particularly convenient for public transport.

 

Residence facilities:

33 Parkside offers three different types of accommodation: two-bed apartments, studios and duplex studios. The rooms are fully furnished and have plenty of storage space.

The studios are modern in design and have state-of-the-art facilities, including en-suite bathrooms, private kitchens and ample study and living space. The rooms include a fully equipped en-suite bathroom, a small double bed, smart TV, a bespoke wardrobe, an electric heater and more. Private kitchens include a cooker, oven, fridge, durable and attractive worktops and more.

In addition, some of the double and duplex studio rooms have a separate balcony for those who want to enjoy the view. The apartment also has a rooftop terrace, gym, games room, laundry room, common lounge area, cinema room, etc., free of charge for students.

Bills are included, such as high-speed WIFI, water, electricity, internet and heating.

 

Location:

33 Parkside is conveniently located off Ringway Street. Several bus stops are nearby Ibis Hotel, Park Road and Stoney Road, and Coventry train station is about a 9-minute walk away.

Walk to Coventry University - 7 minutes

Bus to Warwick University - 20-30 minutes

5 minutes walk to the main street in downtown with a wide range of fast food, restaurants, cafes and bars.

 

Surrounding Life:

33 Parkside is off Ringway Street. The area is steeped in history and is visited all year round by Coventry Cathedral and War Memorial Park. A 10-minute walk to shops, restaurants and wine in the city centre streets, with over a quarter of the city's retail outlets. There are restaurants with national flavours such as Japanese, Korean, Italian, Chinese and English. There are also a variety of specialty stores and shopping centres such as Marks & Spencer and Debenhams, stationery store WHSmith, comic book chain Forbidden Planet, drugstore Boots and Body Shop, clothing store River Island, IKEA, Odeon cinema and many other leisure venues. Cancellation Policy

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

You can cancel your tenancy agreement for up to 14 days after the date of your booking (the Initial Cancellation Period). For bookings made from 1st August to 30th September ahead of the academic year the booking is for, the Initial Cancellation Period reduces to 7 days. We will refund the full security deposit.

No Visa No Pay

Prospective international students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if they do not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not receive the entry Visa they require for their study in the UK and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their refusal of entry to the UK to study no later than 7 days after notification of their refusal.

Evidence can be a copy of the letter from the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration service or other official Visa issuing body as well as a letter from the university, sponsor or institution where they were supposed to be studying. It must clearly show the student’s full name, address and date of issue. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, 3 Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.
Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

No Place No Pay

Prospective first year students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Homes for Students operates, and who book a room with Homes for Students, will be allowed to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if, as a result of not achieving the required A-Level, Scottish Higher (or equivalent) results, they do not gain a place at their chosen university and evidence is provided.

Only new customers who have never lived at a Homes for Students property are eligible.

If a customer does not gain a place at their chosen University or College and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Homes for Students with evidence of their rejection and evidence of the reason why (proof of results achieved etc) no later than 3 working days after their results day.

Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the University/College/UCAS, or a screen shot of the customer’s UCAS status along with the results etc. This can be emailed to salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com or posted to Homes for Students, Clock Tower Park, Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10 1LD.

Customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement within this timescale and provide the correct evidence will be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the Tenancy Agreement.

Our full termination policy is within your online account.

Please note, £20 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover any international bank charges for deposit refunds made to non-UK banks.

If you cancel your booking after the Initial Cancellation Period, you remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until you are able to find another tenant that is acceptable to Homes for Students and we are able to re-let the room. The replacement tenant must be over the age of 18 and have the necessary student status (it is your responsibility to find another tenant and provide them with the correction information). If you find a suitable replacement tenant and the room is re-let we will refund your deposit, less any appropriate charges, as well as a deduction of £50 for the variation of the contract.

How to pay rent?

Please enter the Student Portal interface of your apartment, click Review/Pay Statement to enter the payment interface, then tick the items that need to be paid, and click pay to enter the payment interface. The apartment supports online credit card payment (credit card is supported) or bank transfer 1. For online credit card payment, please ensure that the payment card type is one of the following four types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Carefully fill in the cardholder information, and please ensure that the payment card has sufficient credit, and the bank is opened and supports payment behavior. Please note that payment cards do not need to be present in person. 2. For bank remittance, please contact the apartment to obtain the transfer account under the guidance of the consultant, and then complete the corresponding payment in the bank.
