The equipment is quite good, but the sound insulation is just okay. Every morning, the noise from my neighbor getting up and opening the door wakes me up. I've always felt that the water temperature doesn't reach my ideal level. I emailed him to ask him to raise the water temperature, but a year has passed and it still hasn’t changed. Later, I tried the water level in other rooms, and it indeed seems to be hotter compared to my room.
The room isn’t big, and the window is quite small too. The kitchen is fairly spacious with good natural light, and you can see the castle outside. It has an oven, a microwave, and a kettle, but there are mice running around everywhere, which makes living there really stressful.
The location is great; there is a Sainsbury's downstairs, ECA is across the street, and the room is relatively large. The soundproofing is poor, there is no air conditioning, and the windows do not open very far, so it gets very hot in the summer.

I genuinely lived here for four years! I really liked it. The location is excellent, the environment is great, and it’s in the ECA school district. There are supermarkets, bus stops, drugstores, and cafés nearby, and it’s very convenient to walk to the main campus, Victoria Street, and Princes Street. The staff are friendly and helpful, reply to emails promptly, and always give advance notice for routine maintenance and room inspections. Fire alarms are not frequent. The residence has been fully renovated over the past few years, so the furniture is very new. The only drawbacks are that the soundproofing is average: the sound insulation in ensuite rooms is poor, and in studios you can clearly hear noises from the corridor. Occasionally, there are also small flying insects.

The facilities are brand new and complete, the public areas are clean and tidy, the dormitory management is caring and responsible, and the neighborhood atmosphere is harmonious, making the experience of studying abroad very fulfilling.
