Our Carr Mills student accommodation complex is home to 298 students, sharing 5, 6 and 7-bed flats over 5 floors. Choose between deluxe double rooms, spacious en-suites rooms, or self-contained studio flats. All the rooms have been recently refurbished and offer good quality contemporary fixtures and fittings. Every room is equipped with everything you need to sleep, rest and study. Furniture includes:

Your residence should offer more than just a place to rest your head at night. We created the Carr Mills residence to be a calm and relaxing space that is also suitable for socialising. Each flat shares an open plan kitchen/lounge with plenty of space to relax. Your shared lounge also benefits from a flatscreen smart TV. The secure gated complex offers large landscaped gardens to allow you to make the most of the warmer months. There are also communal BBQ areas where you can fire up the grill with your flatmates. The spacious social areas make it easier to make friends, and the active social community will allow you to make the most of your time in your new student accommodation!

At Carr Mills we have 2 rooms with a ground floor flat that cater to the needs of the partially disabled. They are not necessarily appropriate for full-time wheelchair users, so we would kindly invite you to speak with our Lettings team to discuss whether or not these rooms would be suitable for your needs or not. We will do our very best to help

Getting around
Carr Mills is in the Buslingthorpe area, which is located north of Leeds city centre. You will be within walking distance of Leeds Art University campuses. The 51/52 bus route will take you directly into Leeds city centre, with a wide array of shopping centres, cinemas and restaurants less than ten minutes away. Nearby, you will find the Northside Retail Park, which offers student essentials like Aldi and Poundstretcher. You will also find local supermarkets like Tesco Express after an 18-minute walk. The area is host to many local independent bars and real ale pubs. East of Arcadia holds a weekly quiz night and regular live music in the heart of Meanwood, serving home-cooked food alongside local ales. The Hungry Bear and Alfred are also well worth a visit!
