The apartment supports two payment methods: guaranteed card automatic deduction and bank wire transfer. 1. Guaranteed Card Automatic Deduction: On the payment due date, the apartment will automatically deduct the rent from your linked guaranteed card according to the payment schedule. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds available in your guaranteed card on the payment date and that the issuing bank supports this transaction. 2. Bank Wire Transfer: If your guaranteed card cannot be used for rent payment, please arrange a bank transfer in advance. Before making the payment, communicate with your bank to determine what documents you need to bring for the wire transfer, and ensure you have the necessary materials. Additionally, please ask the bank to assist in calculating the relevant transfer fees, ensuring that the full rent amount is received. Make sure to use the bank information provided by the apartment for payment (if you have not received the apartment’s bank account details and plan to use a wire transfer for rent payment, please contact the apartment via email to obtain the official payment information). Be sure to include the appropriate reference information, and be cautious of any third-party payment accounts. Finally, ensure the rent is fully received and send the remittance receipt to the apartment for their record-keeping.

How to pay the deposit? Will it be refunded?

The deposit is paid to the apartment when you book your room. Upon check-out, the apartment will determine the amount of the deposit to be refunded based on the condition of your property.

Unless otherwise stated, bedrooms are only suitable for single occupancy. Occasional overnight guests may be allowed at management's discretion, provided they do not disturb or inconvenience other residents. You will be fully responsible for the behavior and actions of your guests.

Can I park in the apartment?

No, the apartment does not come with a parking lot.

When is the deadline to pay the rent?

The payment deadline for regular course contracts booked within 51 weeks of 2024 is approximately August 2024. Please refer to the contract for specific dates, as explained by the apartment provider.

Can I keep pets in the room?

No, no pets are allowed in the apartment.

Can my partner and I share a room or a studio apartment since we are both students?

Some apartment types are available for double occupancy at an additional charge of 25%.

You can check in on or after the lease start date. The apartment will inform you about the check-in details and corresponding time as your check-in date approaches.

The online system is asking me to "pay immediately." What does this mean?

Don't worry. By clicking "Pay Now," you are only submitting your details to the secure payment gateway of the card processor. Payment will only be made on the specified date, and the full amount will not be charged on the scheduled day.

How can I get to know other students in the same apartment?

You might want to find someone to live with or get to know other students in the apartment building; you can seek help on the apartment's Facebook page.

What should I do if I want to terminate the agreement and move out?

If you wish to terminate the lease, you must provide written notice to the consultant or the apartment, and you must complete the apartment's sublease form. You will continue to be responsible for the rent until a new tenant is found or the lease term ends, whichever comes first. We cannot guarantee finding other tenants, as this becomes increasingly difficult as the academic year progresses. Please note that you will also need to pay all management fees associated with the reassignment of the lease. Please refer to the apartment's subleasing terms.

Can the rent be paid in installments?

Sure, you can consult your advisor for specific installment details or check the fees section on the property details page in uhomm.com. No local guarantor is required in the UK.

Can I cancel the room directly if I no longer want it after making a reservation?

Please consult your advisor for the specific cancellation policy of the apartment, or check the listings detail page on uhomen.com under the "Can I cancel my order?" section. If you have not yet checked in, you can apply for a cancellation in writing or by email to the apartment during the cooling-off period. If you are beyond the cooling-off period (or there is no cooling-off period), you will need to meet the requirements of the NPNP or NVNP policy to apply for a cancellation with the apartment. If neither applies, you can find a tenant to sublease the room officially.

Do I need to make a reservation for check-in, or can I check in directly?

You need to book the check-in through the apartment account. If there is an error in the selected time, you must email the apartment in advance to confirm the time.

What documents are needed to book an apartment?

Need a student's university offer and passport.

Can I have pets in the room?

To ensure a better living experience for all users, student apartments in the UK generally do not allow pets.
